How To: Spoons

  • All right, one of my very favorite secrets of a beautiful perfect cheese board are little spoons because well, like many other cheeseboard things, I have an addiction to them. I'm always looking for them when I go to little boutiques and little kitchenware stores and this is just a collection of some of the ones that I have and some of the ones that we carry at shopboardsandco.com. I'm always looking for them in all different sizes. Sometimes I have little tiny bowls like this, so I need smaller spoons like that, or like this little, lovely one here. And sometimes I need longer ones because I'm going into a jar of pickles. Whatever it is, be on the lookout for little spoons that you can usec I like to use them. We have them here for mustard and for Chutney, but you might want one with holes in it because you're going to use it in olives or pickles and you don't want that juice to transfer onto people's little plates. You can use them in so many different ways, so, I hope you'll run to your silverware drawer and see what you have and be on the lookout for more tiny spoons for your next cheese board.
