How To: Storing Cheese

In an earlier video, we talked about how to wrap cheese, but how do we keep it in the fridge? That's what we're going to show you now.
So we have some cheeses that we've pre-wrapped. You can wrap these in cheese paper like we did, you can use our cheese storage bags. If you don't have that, you can use parchment or wax paper, but you'll want to check them. Check on them every couple of days. So what I like to do in my refrigerator is I just have a glass container or a plastic container because refrigerators are actually dehydrators and dehydrating is not what you want to do to your cheese.
So I'll just put my cheeses pre-wrapped so that my blue cheese doesn't make my cheddar taste funky and I'll put them in a little box like this, close it up. And I know now how to keep my cheeses fresh and you know the secret to keeping your precious cheese fresh for as long as possible in your refrigerator.
