What clip on is that?
I don’t own either one yet, but if the 22 Creed is so much better then why did it take Hornady 7 years after the release of the 6 Creed to submit it to SAAMI? Seems to me if the 22 Creed is far superior they would have released it instead of waiting?
Without a cheek riser or adjustable comb, why are you running a mount? Some low Hawkins rings would work out much better
@@Go__Birds agreed. I just ran this for the video b/c it fits my Triggercam well.

I can’t wrap my head around prs shooters buying more expensive titanium actions that were designed to be lighter with lighter material and then going you know what my rifle needs about 5 more pounds let me spend some more money and buy some weights. 🤦🏽♂️
@@453Balistic you really have two conflicting arguments here. A lot of PRS shooters are buying titanium actions for their lightweight hunting builds and set ups. Or the national rifle league hunting competitions where your rifle has to be under a specific weight. 12 lbs and 16 lbs depending on class. This video has an Accuracy International, which is a notoriously heavy action. For PRS competitions most guys are trying to go heavier. I’m not aware of anyone running any titanium actions at a match. Hopefully that clears things up.

Funny, We See AI's go down at matches all the time. They are less reliable than an off the shelf custom like an impact or lone peak.
@@nvlaser9084 interesting. I’ve had impacts for a long time and I’ve never had a single fail on them so I totally agree with you there. But in all my years of competing, I’ve never seen an AI go down. What was failing on them?
Hey I also have the 18 inch proof barrel and I thought I read that they don't recommend under 100 grain but full circle has a bunch of them 80 grain Hornady up there. are you still having good luck with yours
I can’t find any results on a 24” barrel with a 1 in 7.7 to 1 in 8 twist
@@ChrisFisher-y1l what do you mean by results? Are you asking for reloading results or places to go find barrels with that twist rate?
@@longrangeprecisionshooters8935 i have been trying to develop a load for my Mcgowen custom 24” 1-7.7 twist. 75gr eldm and supwrformance powder with alpha munitions brass. I’m trying to find online the accuracy of Hornady factory eldm and eldx. But no one is using a 24” barrel and no one is providing a twist rate of their barrel. I went ahead and bought a box of each from Texas munitions to test out since I can’t find any data from other shooters.

The I’ve got money and bought bc I can afford it gun. This guy is way to round to be going elk hunting in the mountains😂
@@Laheyfinegoods you mean “too” round I think. What do you have against affluent plus-size elk hunters?
I’ve owned 4 AI rifles and while they are fantastic, I can’t jump on board with the pricing. They are not worth 14k. They just aren’t. Can’t argue that “oh you can easily swap the barrel” when there are multiple options now that allow quick barrel changes. Back when you could snag an AX SA for under 6-7k, that made sense. Not anymore. Only thing keeping these guys in the game are people with too much money and mil/LE contracts.
@@Braunschweiger89 yeah they’re not cheap. This one is 6500 bucks. I’ve had a lot of fun with it, but I know some of the other models run significantly higher than that.

I don't have a 6mm PRC. I'm too old to be out buying new rifles. I do have a couple of 243s and a couple of 6mm Rems. I used to load (Speer or Sierra???) 85gr hollow point boat tail bullets for deer hunting. They had no problem flattening deer. IIRC, the 85gr out of my 6mm were running at 3100 FPS. So the 6 PRC with a 108 gr bullet at 3300+ FPS will have no problem for deer size game - that includes black bear. I'm talking myself into a new rifle - dang...
@@laughton57 haha…you’re not too old…sounds like you still have some prime years of rifle shooting left! Yes the deer and thicker game doesn’t seem to be an issue with the 103s or 108s….the challenge I’m having is in thinner animals like coyotes the heavier bullets are penciling through.
Thank you for sharing your impressions and bolt lift numbers. I don’t have FOMO now and will stick with my AT-X that I got on sale. By the way, did you modify the mag so that it can reliably feed 6GT?
@@shibaspeed no sir I haven’t changed anything. Seems to be feeding it perfectly fine on my end. But I do think these are the new mags that come with the XC.
I'm a 308 guy and about 30 years ago I met a retired Marine at the range. He had a Chandler built 308 and it was the most accurate 308 ive ever seen. He let me take 10 shots that day, i shot it many more times later on in life. We became friends and he taught me how to shoot his way and I'm forever grateful to Mike the Marine. Sometimes I wonder where that Chandler Rifle is now.

Instant subscriber. Thanks for the video.
@@PBAJ10 thank you, and welcome to the channel!
You have to use proportional bullets, no one buys a 6 CM to shoot 80 grain bullets, they also don't buy/build it with an 18 inch barrel, use 100, 105,or 108 grain bullets.
@@KevinBrown-r7d this video is about killing coyotes and hogs. Like I’ve said multiple tops through the thread. Out of the 6 Creedmoor the 103‘s do not kill coyotes well. Neither do 105s from my experience. 108s are OK. But the 80s absolutely slay hogs and coyotes. That’s the reason for the comparison of bullets being used in the video.
There’s certainly an application for shorter barreled rifles. Just because it doesn’t fit your application doesn’t mean it won’t for others.
@@nothingbutnut2767 agreed

AXSA > ATXC (and it's not close). I mean, if you're a sissy and can't manage the heavier bolt lift of an AXSA, maybe you need the ATXC, but if you have even an ounce of testosterone, the AXSA is better.
This one made me laugh. Well played, sir.

@ good idea! Thanks for the comment Brother
I don't believe you could go wrong with either choice but with current prices of each being almost the same. What are your thoughts of the atxc vs the axsa?
@@ryanrogers5435 great question! The axsa is a super cool rifle, no doubt. I think that is one of the baddest looking rifles on the planet. That being said, with the center to bore being so high, it’s not something I could compete with at a high level. So for that reason it wasn’t the rifle for me….but again, it’s a bad to the bone rig!!
@longrangeprecisionshooters8935 certainly. I've been looking to pick up one of the two and will compete with it but isn't the primary purpose and haven't really been able to find a reason to pick up the older axsa over the atxc in the current package that's offered but haven't been able to get my hands on both to compare in person yet. Atxc seems like the winner to me. Any reason you've came across where you'd say the axsa beats out the axsa out at?
