We keep an expanded CB in the shack with my amateur radio gear. We also have an expanded one in the vehicle, but decided against carrying CB HT's feeling such monies would be better spent on digital VHF/UHF HT's. The later will expand our data capability and better keep communications from prying eyes. Field personnel can always be contacted via VHF/UHF comms regarding necessary CB traffic/information.

I recall in my youth while hiking in the woods during this time of year I paused to rest sitting with my back to a tree, unbeknown to me a group of these wandered in behind me and as I stood up they launched themselves vertical with loud noises and leaves flying all around me ... I dont know how many trees I hit running but they scared the hell out of me. Good times...

Yep I truly think there are 2 different types of turkeys, the ones that are in areas that they can be shot, and those that know they safe, I swear the hunted ones have plate carriers Night vision, coms and calendars. Cause the minute it’s turkey season those suckers know it. I’ve always suspected they use vietSquirrels as informants.

We have the first Jesuit Pope of Francis and my Prime Minister went to a French-Jesuit school as a child, the same one his father went to previously as well. Canada has imported millions of undesirable punjabis into our country which has grown the concern of Canadians similar to what the Americans see also. It’s funny to realize too that we were just in their country in the last century and now they got the invite to the British common wealth countries because theirs are overpopulated and lack a standard of living.
