A very sad decision, but one i have had to take.

Leaks, Leaks & more Leaks Grrrrrrrr......However apart from the dreaded leaks I have made a little progress - I have been able to apply darkened privacy film to the windows and started on the new carpeting. So join me for the next segment in my journey of restoring my Shetland 4 .2 river cruiser.

Woke up to a heavy frost and thick fog. But I really wanted to get out in my boat for a few hours. So join me aboard 'Old Buoy' as I decide what to do.

Join us aboard old Buoy, my Shetland 535 as we move it from Newark Kings Marina to the cracking Burton Waters in Lincoln. This journey entailed three locks and the tidal stretch of the river Trent. We are joined by a narrow boat for the journey and what a wonderful journey it was. With incredible scenery and wildlife this is a trip ill not forget even though it was incredibly cold. Enjoy

I have finally carried out all the improvements both internally and externally to my Shetland 535. Apart from ongoing maintenance, I now have the boat exactly how I want it and my work is complete (hopefully) Take a look and tell me what you think!
