Ep:4. Shetland 4+2 Project Boat

Leaks, Leaks & more Leaks Grrrrrrrr......However apart from the dreaded leaks I have made a little progress - I have been able to apply darkened privacy film to the windows and started on the new carpeting.
So join me for the next segment in my journey of restoring my Shetland 4+.2 river cruiser.

Hi buddy, lot of bloody hard work there but the carpet looks great. Don't envy you changing all them bolts lol.
You did ask if anyone has any information to let you know well.
I think I may have some bad news for you (sorry) But as someone who has done a lot of Tainted windows from cars to houses, I think that your tint may fall off for a couple of of reasons. Couldn't see in the video how bad they were but you said you had a lot of air pocket's which if they were small and few could settle down, however, they can also spread and make the tint lose (spray soapy water over the tint and use a window rubber wipe to push them out) also the tint you used was it just a one-piece or did you get the good stuff were you have to peal off the backing then stick it (That's what you really need) and I never spotted you spraying the film just the windows which makes me think it's just the push on stuff and not sticky back for want of another word.
Now I know you can't show everything in the video so I hope I'm 100% wrong but even if I am right at least it's an easy fix. Great video buddy can't wait to see what you do next.
