To me Kagura from Gintama is the best written shonen female lead. She is strong, had her own personality, she doesn't get sexualized, she doesn't chase after the male protagonist and had her own goals. She doesn't get cast out, she has even her own arc. Sorachi is to me an amazing writter. The thing is Gintama is underrated because it's primary a parody anime. But when it gets serious, it's amazing.

Shinmai ossan is another I would def put on the list for stuff to look out for. Pretty underrated series that I haven't heard anyone talk about l prior to the anime release (besides the one random on twitter where I first heard the series from). One of the best power fantasy's I've read

Yeah I know Fruits Basket tries to convince me to see Akito as a victim, but what she inflicted upon the family was so often and so intense she crossed the Moral Event Horizon, from victim to straight abuser. In fact I'd say abuse is a light word for what she committed, cuz I'm preeeetty sure that hitting a minor in the head with a flower pot, punch a child, and *push off someone the house's second floor balcony* are incontestable *crimes* . Only reason the story doesn't commit to a better fitting punishment is because the writer didn't want to ruin the "feel-good" ending by wrapping up a bitter resolution into the mix (or just plain There Are No Therapists). But overall, Furuba is a Whump story.

What Ashihara shows so well is how to get away with weakness. Most Shounen give power ups to increase the ability of their characters so they can overcome odds and beat their enemies. In turn the enemies have power ups to make the battles seem scarier or more impactful. The level of growth for Mikumo is frankly as slow as real growth is in real life. He does grow but it is hard. It takes so many episodes for him to achieve growth and because of this it doesn't seem like a magic power up but an obvious next step based on all the steps he has taken before. When I first watched World Trigger I couldn't get into it. But once I understood, it has been hard to go back.

I wish that the dummy beacons got more usage. I feel like Osamu could use them pretty well as long as the trion usuage isn't too high.

I only figured out 2 but all of the main characters can represent some emotions And everyone might have different opinion Homura probably means depression or via any negative emotions. As well as selfishness Madoka is straight positivity or selflessness Tell me what u think about other characters- cuz idk And here’s a lot of things to consider about the wishes Everyone’s wishes are SELFISH Madoka wished to save everyone. But that drove Homura insane Sayaka wished to heal Kyouske so he could play music again. But all that is just for herself to be with him Kyoko wished her father could be listened without thoughts. But she just a want it for herself so she can eat Homura wished to “save” Madoka. But it’s just all for Madoka. Which I’m sure she cares about others but she can also just kill anyone if that means making Madoka happy. May be selfless only to madoka, but not to everyone else I forgot what Mami wished for but even if she wished a wish for someone else, that’s only for herself

I think the main reason they are ending because of internet. (I know, I know, blame internet for everything but hear me). Back in the day, the main media for consuming anime was TV and their revenue are ads. So, there is an incentive if the anime keeps running long as people want to watch familiar anime. Plus if anime are short they will be forgotten and merch wont be sold. But these days, there is more of a "trend" mindset. Hype the anime all you can and sell merch and move on. So thats why I believe long anime are dying. But i could be wrong
