IS BRENT FAIYAZ TOXIC ?
This topic has been brewing for awhile, to me I have a lot of topics, but I be overthinking shit and be wanting it to look a certain way etc etc. I was actually making this in like April of this year, but lost somebody close to me, so because of that I just wasn’t in the headspace to complete it really. Which sucks bc I just took a smooth 7 month hiatus to learn software & was getting back into creating content/ streaming; but hey that’s life lol. Just wanted to update those who care about me/ the material I upload 🫶🏾. (Just bc I don’t have all of you on my socials etc etc)
If you'd like to give me any video topics or would like to connect, here are all my links
linktr.ee/faygos
Also, that nigga isn’t toxic ☠️. But TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK IN THE COMMENTS DOWN BELOW.

Law 27: HOW PLAYBOI CARTI CREATED A CULT.
มุมมอง 21K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The 27th law of power illustrates how to "play on people's need to believe, to... create a cultlike following". Carti keeps it vague whilst keeping it simple. He emphasizes the visual and sensual over the intellectual. He subconsciously borrows the forms of organized religion to structure the group and most importantly establishes a " us- verses them" dynamic. Although there are multiple entert...

Hopefully, The project that comes has a decent amount of features and isn't just Brent singing on the majority of the songs. While I do enjoy the music, him having other artists on the songs to bring an even more moody sound would help. I'm completely fine with him barely having any features on his own material, but it would be interesting to see him work with other artists on the Sonder album....
Rap Music Is KILLING Black People. #HIPHOPMUSIC
มุมมอง 1.4K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Is Hip Hop/Rap destroying the black community? Are these wordsmiths & Masters Of Ceremonies the culprits behind mass incarceration & Violence amongst the black community? I believe the answer to this question is way more nuanced than a simple yes or a simple no. I believe you must first blame the system from which the people are from before you start to condemn and blame a group of people who a...

I'm not one of those people who hop on "hate" trains, I listen to music and give my honest opinions on it, obviously I'm always gonna respect the artist as a person, but the art as a whole can be critiqued. This was an album submission or whatever, like I stated in the vid, if you want a video you'll have to slide sum. for a song a smooth $10 for an album $25, and that's fair because I'm gonna put in the same amount of effort in the video you feel me. Based on leaks I thought that Whole lotta red could be one of the best trap records since Ta1300, however it's arguably one of the more underwhelming bodies of work I've heard in a while. Eh fair, but the majority of his material imo is more so on an honest wavelength. FTW, was a full persona which lead to Wasteland in which he was somewhat playing a character. Lmfao the undertone of the video is that you think playboi carti doesnt deserve the praise hes getting for his artistry and instead manipulated people into liking it. You can’t force anyone to like your artistic, creative aesthetics. You can argue that he has handled his popularity and attention well, making smart business, behind the scenes and public image moves to go along with his artistry.

    • @Faygos
      @Faygos ปีที่แล้ว

      2 things can be true at once. I absolutely think he deserves what has come to him. However It would he disingenuous to not think he doesn’t stir people or his fans to create a cult like following. His artistry, creative aesthetics, business decisions and social ambiguity has made him absolutely revered. Imo anyways. I just think it’s very calculated and that he’s not doing it aimlessly. HOWEVER THANKS 4 WATCHING 🫶🏾🫶🏾

    • @jalanmcrae
      @jalanmcrae ปีที่แล้ว

      The idea that people can’t be forced to think a certain way or like something simply isn’t true. Ask yourself why do you think the way you think and act the way you act. Social pressure mixed with your personal experience. If you can find a way to relate to the majority and create an image that you’re aesthetically “different” then you just gained a cult following. Even Kanye has a cult following due to the image he portrays and his music resonates with a lot of people. Dark psychology is a beautiful thing.

    Im def in the same boat with that first point. Music is subjective and people are allowed to like what they wanna like. Playboi Carti exists exactly for that reason. There is a place for both artists who wanna make something profound that moves you emotionally and for artists who have fun that move you physically.

As people around the world we losing authenticity and a lot of us want to escape or give in to escapism that the world gives out so that we don't have to deal with ourselves. I also agree that the word toxic is being thrown around to easily when sometimes people are just being honest with thier story and themselves.
