Hi Prince and Nikki, Quick question: what is the usefulness of this plastic laid after the plywood decking, before the steel bender starts his work? We usually see this plastic torn and peeling once the slab roof has been cast, and it seems not providing any durable impermeablilisation or other durable benefit and is not as thick as a DPM 300. Thank you for your clarification and keep up the good work you are outputting. 🙏 Akpe na mi!

Wow. This is a beautiful job well done. My site is a few plots away from yours. We have purchased roofing sheets from SangoBuild. They were very easy to deal with!

I think you should also consider the thickness of the aluminum profile cos there are three main types ie Italian, KS-50 and Triaco. The Triaco is the best quality heavy gauge aluminum profile. PVC type isn’t good for Ghana’s Weather. KS-50 is the most common type people use for their windows. Italian type of profile is the lightest, less quality on the market.

I see you use hollow building blocks and solid. May I ask why? In the Caribbean, they use hollowed blocks and then fill them with concrete after laying them. Within those hollow blocks, steel goes up from the foundation and concrete decks.

Wow! Such a large decking, and casted using wheel borrows moving the concrete.
