It's refreshing to work with a company that not only understands the intricacies of their field but also takes the time to share insights and educate their clients Thank you Prince and Nikki 😄
Wow. This video really shows the complexity of this build and also the professional knowledge required to pull this off successfully. Very well done. Coming together nicely. Kudos to Prince, Nikki, Mike, the entire team and of course.....brother Kofi.
Hi Prince and Nikki, Quick question: what is the usefulness of this plastic laid after the plywood decking, before the steel bender starts his work? We usually see this plastic torn and peeling once the slab roof has been cast, and it seems not providing any durable impermeablilisation or other durable benefit and is not as thick as a DPM 300. Thank you for your clarification and keep up the good work you are outputting. 🙏 Akpe na mi!
The rubber sheets makes it easy to remove the decking plates or boards from the concrete after casting. Sometimes ppl rent the boards and add the rubber sheets to preserve the surfaces of the boards and also give some form of smooth effect 😂.
The rubber is not DPM. It’s used to protect the plywood from the moisture in the concrete. Unlike marine plywood which has a protective sheet (and more expensive) the standard plywood has no protection. Therefore the rubber is used to prevent the plywood from rotting and failing during the curing process. Akpe na wotse
