    Why not use hollow blocks from the slab making it easy to run your electric conduit. Great speech by master electrician but didn’t hear him reference a single electrical code for switches, outlets to floor level height. The ac split unit requires per code to have a disconnect box close to the outdoor unit. Hopefully he’s using the correct circuit breaker called out for per the OEM

    I like the concept of the "grid switch. I have been thinking so much about how to turn on/off the kitchen appliances without the hustle and bustle of pulling them out. thanks for the info. where can I get one to buy, is it available in Ghana market?

    • @princenikki
      @princenikki  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Am not if the grid switch is available on the Ghanaian market but a competent electrician should be able adapt what is available locally on the same principle.

    I think cutting up the walls like that can damage the integrity of the structure. Especially when you have that enormous amount of weight on rhe top. This is why i would never allowed chopping of the walls with chisel.

      It's kinda trading off here and there. Running through the floor will also mean buying more sand and cement. For example, you can see that the plastic junction box is deeper than the metal one. Which means the hole through the blocks will be deeper compared to the metal box but the plastic box will last longer and can take more extra wires. I don't think you can have it all😊😊😊

      Thanks for watching. The walls that were diamond cut are non-structural and the cut were only 25mm into 150mm concrete blocks. All positions were coordinated and discussed with the structural engineer. Wall chasing is a common practice in construction and preferred to surface mounting of conduits which require additional framing for wall boards. Thanks
