Hi Bill, as you said, that was a soggy saunter indeed. My phone weather alert was saying at 6 this morning rain should clear this morning, which it did briefly fkr 10 minutes or so at about 10. It reset itself and went rain expect this afternoon. I don't think that weather app has the word sun in its vocabulary. 😂😂😂 See you tomorrow mate. 👍👍👍

I bet there were also a few people wandering around town at 11 ish thinking poor Bil he is probably hanging around the station in this weather. Little did they know you had had a successful dawn raid. 😜😜😜. The art trail was a nice change, it's just a shame that they don't do it every year, although it is nice that part of it still exists doing what it was designed for. Great memories Bill ,my mum always used to talk about the sea net at the entrance of the harbour during the war . The old wooden stations were very prone to fire ,both Starcross and Warren stations burnt down . I still prefer Teignmouth station in its present guise ,it certainly looks better than Dawlish and way more attractive.

Weather warning for our area tomorrow Bill , it goes from Bad to worse. On the other hand, being a forever optimist, the Autumn will probably be fantastic, just a small matter of getting the six weeks holiday out the way !
