🙋Roger from Bristol! Ooya beauty, those pier photos 😯, looking forward to seeing the full story. Gorgeous flowers and a successful shopping trip, lovely 😊. Seeya tomorrow Bill for the beach visit.
Lovely. Nice photos of carnival too. I wonder how much income will be lots for the small trader, cafes etc. ? It must surely be one of their busiest evenings. They still have to pay councils taxes. Shambles that's what I think. But love to all. Good retro photos too. Well done Jeffrey.
@@BillsPhoneTeignmouth it is very pleasant on the ear. Please ignore my tame excuse of the Italian language, I swallowed a phrase book when we visited Venice, I even learnt swear words 😂😂😂
Another great walk, love all those potted plants, what a lovely display. The damage to the pier explains why it is so utilitarian today, all the decorative details and roof were lost and a cheaper repai used - pity😾. 😺
Yes, fantastic display that they do each year. Plus they created a flowerbed across the road and planted it themselves - Proper green fingered couple! Yes, the Pier of old WAS a Pier... Not like todays.... 👍👍👍
Hi Bill, I enjoyed your walk as I do everyday. It’s the first thing I watch when I get in from work. Those flowers are lovely. Looking forward to seeing your new specs. 😊👍👍👍
Hi Bill, a very pleasant walk. The waterfall is a bit shy isn't it? You would have thought that with all the rain you have had this year it would be a bit more forceful. The demolition work seems to be gathering pace. I wonder if they had negotiated a finish early clause after the cock up with the council's planning application. Ehame there won't be a carnival this year. The then and nows of the pier don't half show the current owners up. I bet it didn't take that long to fix the pier in 1908. See you tomorrow mate.
Yes, waterfall is a water trickle - But at least that means we've had some nice weather! Demolition is nearly all done now - Hopefully the barriers will be removed in time for he airshow - See you tomorrow mate 👍
Hello again Bill good to see you . Lovely walk as always much enjoyed . Nice pics of last year's carnival thanks Bill and Pete . Few trains and 2 criss overs was it Bill a bonus . Well you did do quite a big shop at the Co op didn't you I hope you and Mum enjoy your curries love to you both ❤😊xx see you tomorrow take care 🤗xx
Thanks Pam - Yes, big shop at co-op as its usually just once a week -Lidls for stuff that goes off, or gets eaten faster (bread & milk) Yes, looking forward to tonight's curry in a few hours - See you tomorrow 👍👍👍
We have just been to Teignmouth today 26th, but not for long though. We drove in down the main road by the River but what a jam because of one repair to the road. Queued for miles and then the one coming from the other direction went all the way up the hill towards Dawlish. We come down regularly but NEVER Again. We parked up on the end of the point when along came the gestapo parking officer who was walking along handing out tickets for £100 for various infringements, to a load of people,,We nearly got one (£100) for being on the white line with my wheel, I had to move it 6 inches or get a fine as I would have otherwise had to buy another second ticket at £6.20 for using TWO spaces???? Sorry but we will not be back again as it was our favourite visit in the West Country but no longer, it left a bad taste in my mouth with the attitude.😮
I agree mate - Its absolutely awful they way they treat motorists down here - The temporary traffic lights just never seem to stop! Money Money Money these days ! Sorry you had a bad time & wont be returning, but I cant blame you after all that 👍
