Great memories Bill ,my mum always used to talk about the sea net at the entrance of the harbour during the war . The old wooden stations were very prone to fire ,both Starcross and Warren stations burnt down . I still prefer Teignmouth station in its present guise ,it certainly looks better than Dawlish and way more attractive.

Yup, I prefer Teignmouth Station to Dawlish, but then I'm biased! 😂😂😂
