Here's another Cartoon Cartoon that you've likely forgotten about if you're a millennial or never heard of if you're outside that age group. Time Squad was a program that featured a trio of guys going through history in order to fix the odd things that have been seen happening in it. It wasn't easy to review this one as I'm not entirely clear on the rules that the show was trying to establish. ...

Here's another short video I made. I've seen people describe rock bands and other things in one sentence. So, I figured I could do the same thing with objects in the Solar System. I didn't cover everything there is (I don't think anyone would sit through a video like this that ran for hours on end), but I think I covered all of the most exciting worlds. Enjoy!

The last video in the Stop the Rock saga is here! We're down to one last riddle and it's the one for which I haven't gotten any clues. While attempting to solve it we find that geologist Sam Andreas is stranded in the wilderness while a volcano is about to erupt. Somehow, I need to both save him and stop the Impending Dumé meteoroid in less than a day! Watch as I perform the impossible...or fai...

We're nearing the home stretch here! We begin on day three of the game having solved four riddles. Time is running out for us to save the Earth from Impending Dumé. The game in its obnoxiousness is now only allowing me to solve one riddle per day. Luckily, there aren't many more clues to gather where the riddles are concerned, but it's anybody's guess as to what will become of our planet or pla...

    The only way you can watch the Super Bowl special nowadays is by tracking down a VHS copy on eBay or some other antique store, or in bits and pieces on TH-cam, because the licensing issues with how and when it was made caused it to be the ONLY Peanuts special (alongside Why, Charlie Brown, Why? for a while*) to not be re-released in any capacity officially, in this case, due to copyrights with the NFL. *When Apple TV bought the licenses to stream and broadcast Peanuts specials, WCBW was one of the many recovered, restored in a previously unseen remastered quality. Previously, a certain Peanuts DVD compilation includes it, but its quality BARELY being remastered. There are 29 original Peanuts specials on Apple TV’s lineup, but the Super Bowl one is missing.

    The segment about It Was My Best Birthday Ever, Charlie Brown made me flashback to a supposed fiend of mine who repeatedly ghosted me. She’d ask me if I wanted to do something, I’d accept, she’d tell me a time she’d pick me up, and then she’d often ghost me. It started to be that she ghosted me way more often than she kept her promises. I would wait for her (often going without food because she’d say we’d get something while out) only to realize she had done it to me again. I even missed Halloween celebrations one year because she invited me to an event and then never showed. She rarely apologized or gave an explanation, and the one time I expressed a negative emotion about her not keeping an appointment, she blew up at me and talked about how “selfish” I was. In fact, that’s how our friendship ended. She invited me to something in the presence of my mother, and I accepted because I thought, “She won’t break a promise she made in front of a witness!” After hyping this trip, she tried to cancel with an excuse so bad I didn’t realize it was supposed to be an excuse. When I didn’t buy her shoddy excuse, she blew up worse than ever, calling me selfish, saying untrue things about me, and ending our friendship, which had lasted a number of years, over a completely imagined wrongdoing. As bad as Mimi was, at least she kept her promise and showed up, even if it were just for a minute.

    I actually just found out something really cool I want to tell you about since you're an animation reviewer, and it's related to the one and only, A Boy Named Charlie Brown. There are actually 2 deleted scenes that were cut out of the film probably because they were a bit too long (literally just under a minute) and there both related to hallucinations, one of them is during the Failure Face song where it's basically Charlie Brown running all over the place and the other is basically an extended version of Linus's hallucination and there's some pretty weird stuff in there and both scenes are for sure what they imply. Apparently, they were both featured in a Brazilian show that showed deleted scenes from many different movies, and now these scenes are starting to get more attention to people and I hope if a future release for the movie happens (especially for its anniversary this year) they gotta include them as a special bonus feature, I highly recommend you check them out to see what i'm talking about since nobody really knows about these deleted scenes.

    Unpopular opinion, but I actually liked Pahkitew. The thing about that season is that, unlike previous seasons of Total Drama, you're NOT supposed to take it seriously within this universe. It feels like a parody of Total Drama itself. It was in its own little world that only existed for that season -- even when part of an episode was shown on The Ridonculous Race it felt like, this didn't actually happen. It was just a TV show within the universe.

Dishonorable Mentions: It's the Girl in the Red Truck, Snoopy's Getting Married, You're in the Super Bowl, Happy New Year and It's Arbor Day Charlie Brown. 5. He's Your Dog Charlie Brown 4. It's Your First Kiss Charlie Brown 3. It Was My Best Birthday Ever Charlie Brown 3. It's the Pied Piper Charlie Brown 1. Not only did the kids forget about the race, but the producers probably did as well that this is a story about a race. Ugh my least favorite Peanuts movie for sure because the racing aspect is thrown out of the window in the middle part of it and this film is filled with SO much filler and it's pretty boring too and it really lacks that adventurous and fun summer camp feeling and it's also very nonsensical because the inconsistency with everything like why does this race last for a whole day? and why is it just the Peanuts kids and the bullies racing? and my biggest question that makes NO sense whatsoever, is HOW ON THE ENTIRE PLANET OF EARTH IS IT SNOWING WHEN IT'S FLIPPING SUMMER? And they really did my favorite Peanuts character Peppermint Patty dirty in this because she really acts like an egotistical leader that's all about herself and the race which really ruins my barely any enjoyment for it because she really irritates me, which is a shame since she's like I said my favorite characters in the franchise along with Marcie and Snoopy, and the music during those bully wrecking their boats scenes get really annoying to listen to since they play it so many times. It does have its moments like that catchy opening song and some of the animation is pretty good during the quite intense scenes, but I agree with what you said about it with being loaded with so much filler and nonsensical plot elements and unlikable characters that really drains my liking for it, I prefer Bon Voyage because it was something very special that Schulz wanted to make and puts alot of his memories of war into the film with its references to France where he was during the war, and I do sense the heart he put into it. It's more enjoyable to watch with the kids visiting the country and the different landmarks they go to. Yeah the final act doesn't make any sense really, but I can tolerate it much more since like I said, I enjoy it much more than the previous Paramount Peanuts film, yeah they actually licensed and still own these films.

  • @user-Ki9bv5iz1k
    @user-Ki9bv5iz1k 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Also I disagree with He's Yoru Dog being better because it feels like a pathetic version of the film, it's the first bad Peanuts special in my opinion and is in my bottom 5 because Snoopy is at his worst and he doesn't even learn his lesson by the end and it's just such a dissatisfying ending, and this special is so tedious to sit through, because the story makes no sense at times and like I said, Snoopy is a pretty bad character in this one, he abuses his actions onto the kids and acts spoiled with Peppermint Patty, how are we supposed to sympathize with him again? And the kids just act so mad and grumpy throughout the special that it becomes so tiring and unenjoyable and just gives this special such a bad mood vibe to watch. Yeah I can agree with what you said about the music being overdone at times and the emotional elements going on for too long as well as Snoopy's horrible attitude, but at least it has a more heartfelt feeling in it and has its sad moments and makes the story more impactful than the He's Your Dog version. I still think Snoopy Come Home is pretty good for what it was though, but I can see where you're coming from with it, I haven't even watched that film fully yet, just seen a good chunk of bits from it.

  • @user-Ki9bv5iz1k
    @user-Ki9bv5iz1k 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Sorry if i'm late a bit and I hope you see this comment: A Boy Named Charlie Brown is not only my favorite Peanuts film, not only my favorite piece of Peanuts media, but my favorite film EVER!!! Why? I think it has the best story the entire franchise has ever told because the message really affects me and even though it's simple, that line that Linus says really touches me because we all feel that way in our lives and that kind of message can keep people striving in life, that's why it's prefect for C.B to lose and that's the most impactful part of it. And i'm glad someone finally praises the animation because my goodness is it gorgeous for having a small budget (I guarantee that's what they mostly spend on this film) and I really admire it, it's almost like a low budget Fantasia film, and that scene with Schroder is phenomenally beautiful! and I do like that aspect with shots of characters doing stuff at the same time, it's pretty unique I must say. I absolutely LOOOVE the music SO MUCH!!! Rod McKuen who wrote the songs for the film are so wonderful and charming to listen to with my favorite the song with the same movie title, has such a beautiful score to it and the lyrics as well as his scruffy singing give me such a comfy and special feeling because of it. Champion C.B is such a fun and happy song and Failure Face is nice too. The music to makes me feel so emotional inside because it sounds pretty sad and depressing, but that's what I love about it and particularly We Lost Again really exemplifies that and it's such a highlight with the soundtrack and I absolutely love it! I understand people's complaints with the film having alot off filler and should've been a special instead, but I strongly disagree because that emotional feeling wouldn't work if it was done that way and a story like this just works better for a film, and we wouldn't have gotten the music that really moves this film in a wonderful way, and I like that it's a bit slow because we get more deeper feelings of C.B being depressed and I really love that and connect with him, and the characters are really well written and enjoyable to watch, and it has my favorite appearance of most of them, particularly Lucy and Charlie Brown. I'm very glad that you said it was your favorite Peanuts movie because it really gets slept on and is severally overrated in the huge catalog of Peanuts media, and I really wish more people gave it the love and attention which i'm glad more people are starting to do and I hope it continues to grow especially since this year is the 55th anniversary of this film, and the more love and praise it gets the better because it is truly a remarkable and wonderful film that really entertains and touches me every time I watch it, and it's without a doubt the best of this entire franchise in my opinion, definitely a 10.5/10 film for me because I love it THAT much!!! Another great Peanuts video Planetaryiam954 and I hope you continue to make great videos that nobody is doing in this style anymore.

It's a beautiful lesson to learn and hear, even as an adult. ... Also it tickles my funny as a New Yorker. That ice-skating scene at Rockefeller Center made me smile. What I didn't like about the ending of Snoopy Come Home was that even though he went back to Charlie Brown, he mainly did it after discovering that no dogs were allowed in Lila's apartment! It was very bad for her because not only had she lost Snoopy twice, but her parents gave her false hope that Snoopy could live with her again instead of explaining to her about the "No Dogs" rule.

    We have been re-watching all of these while we collect the volumes of the strips! Thank you for this!

    I watched Bon Voyage a lot as a kid (that and the motocross special) and I remember how atmospheric the animation was, it really left an impression on me. It might actually be my favorite animation in the Peanuts catalog, although the new Franklin special was really good.

      Bon Voyage put me to sleep as kid, it lacks humor and the climax wasn't really suspenseful

      @@rumblebird9888 I agree. While I enjoyed a lot of aspects of it, the entire third act was just plain awful!
