26:26 There was an event similar to this around the late 19th century. The transcontinental railroad of the United States was expanding, and bigger engines were needed, so the older, smaller engines were being scrapped. To promote the railroad, an event was organized in a temporary town in Texas called Crush. Here, they intentionally rammed two disused steam engines into each other at top speed while a crowd watched on in amusement. The engineers specifically told the advertisers that the engines would not explode as a result of the impact, but they did anyway. A lot of people were wounded and killed, as because there was assumed to be no risk, the crowd didn’t stand very far back. The tragedy has gone on to be known as The Crash at Crush if you want to look further into it.

You don’t find a lot of commentary videos on TH-cam, nice

Why are there two layers of audio playing simultaneously? I can hear two voices overlapping 😥

The background (weaker/softer) audio layer is the audio from the original video, the foreground (stronger/louder) audio layer is the commentary audio.
Try watching a DVD or BD movie with the commentary audio turned on and you'll find a similar two-layer audio effect as the commentary track is played over a softened movie audio track.
