That gun got me hooked on airguns. I shot Crosman wadcutters. Got many starlings, rats, and even a rattlesnake with it. Shot many starlings at 30-40 yards using the iron sights. Had to put a dab of paint so I could check the sights before every shot. They moved so easy.
I thought that was once again a most enjoyable video, Travis, and fine shooting, too. To my surprise, the most accurate air gun in my small arsenal is now a "cheap" Daisy Model 35 I bought at my local Hardware store a couple of months ago. It took messing with both windage and elevation, but it has become a great rifle to shoot.
Hey boss, I hope you're doing well ! I have 4 of the old B3's all $20.00 pawn shop finds A friend of mine converted one of them to a nitro piston it now shots a 14.3 grain pellet in the low 800 fps mark, but it's a bear to cock !!
Glad you’re still at. I enjoy videos. Heard you got rid of some of your guns. Maybe time for new models? I know you love shooting it shows in your reviews. I got back into air guns after watching one of your videos on a Crosman Legacy. I know you love Crosman and their closing hit me hard also.
I go through phases. The thing with budget airguns is they're basically all the same and it didn't make sense for me to have several that do the same thing. Yeah, I hate what's happened to Crosman. It was really the only company that I was brand loyal too. They produce the same stuff and jack the price up without doing anything new and their pellets have gone from best to worst. Sad to see.
Yes I understand getting too many guns and all seem the same. I’m a Crosman fan also, grew up in the East Bloomfield area. Born and raised on Crosman. I’m thinking of just collecting older Crosman stuff. More sentimental value than any Gamo or Umerax could ever give me.
Howdy! So can you confirm your FPS is near 700? That does not bode well for my B3....I always thought mine was very accurate for what it was so I always assumed it was healthy power-wise too....but I was pretty surprised to find out mine only puts out CPHP's at ~500fps or so (with a brand new breach seal too)...
I think you might be close to being right. I'll do a Chrony video soon. It's been a long time since I've did the numbers. Also this one is .177. The .22 I had was around 500 fps.
Yes 177. But who knows? 700 is probably what they advertise and it actually somewhat falls in line with what I saw written by Tom Gaylord at Pyramid Air. He did a post on the B3 awhile back and reported getting "636 FPS with RWS Hobby pellets"
I took apart my Crosman firearm for what ever reason just felt like it, and I cannot get the hammer spring pin back in. I assume I need to find a way to compress the spring? its just annoying the crap out of me all it needs is like a quarter of an inch clearance.
Make sure trigger assembly isn't stopping you, have to mess with trigger when putting spring assembly back in, if it really just the spring use ur body weight and have someone else slip pin it while ur pushing airgun down against floor. Or get a long woodworking clamp
@@dannyarmata8878 I managed to get the spring into place by fiddling with the trigger. It's just that metal back piece that holds the spring in place. From my experience with PCP air rifles and multi-pumps, I think I do have to compress the spring to get the pin in. Also, thanks for your help; I greatly appreciate it!
I always thought 🤔 about getting one of those.
Love this air rifle so much

Now available for only a little less than a Diana Two-Fourty! Miss them being $19.95 at tool sales.
Right! Maybe they'll go back down or the quality will come up.

I have one in 22 I'm wanting to upgrade it. What was the name of the airgun repair shop you told me about in an earlier comment? Great video brother
