People in this comment section need to stop lumping Enterprise with Discovery. Enterprise as a series is objectively better than Discovery and had a valid reason to be dark (it's literally the transition from our times to Star Trek's utopia) and yet it was still very optimistic. Enterprise actually has redeeming qualities. I've said my peace.

Remember playing through FS2. Looking back, it did the unknown ancient alien terror far better than the Reapers were in Mass Effect. The Shivans were an unknown threat, the fact they had all of these ships waiting and the largest vessel we could build in 20 years was gone in 20 seconds. The difference between FS2 and Mass Effect, is that FreeSpace the military command is actually smart and uses tactics, devises strategy to gain an edge or deny the enemy their overpowering abilities, for a moment at least.

Found this video tonight and loved it! Being 67 years old, the original version is still my favorite. I remember watching Star Trek when I was a kid around age eight.

The Disco Enterprise...well Discovery AND SNW are NOT in the prime timeline as shown at the end of Lower Decks. Pike's Enterprise was NOT a refit of the TOS Enterprise... if anything it would be the other way around. However now that Discovery and Strange New Worlds are NOT in the prime universe says something in itself. That would be NIMBUS III. Nerendra III was the Klingon Outpost that the Enterprise-C fought the Romulans and was destroyed there. You need to re-read the proper history of the TOS/Refit and -A of the Enterprise...

What a legacy this franchise has... I can't help but wonder....300 years from now, when it REALLY IS 2245 and beyond (pun intended) what will our descendants think when they look back at all that is "STAR TREK" today. What will they think??? Will they regard it as we do the works of Shakespeare and the like??? It's an interesting speculation.
