I wish I could tell you how it turned out but the fanfic story was never updated or completed

I never considered the broadsword a bomber, or even a "fighter craft". with Jump drive, long range, large crew (4-5 crew depending 1 pilot + 3 gunners (+1 navigator/engineer optional) to me this was a "Patrol torpedo boat." In truth crews likely to spend days in a broadsword on missions...
