This is what I loved about the Wing Commander novels: they didn't restrict themselves to the kind of action you could find in the games. You had marine boarding actions, corvette raids, and the desperate salvage of an enemy supercarrier alongside thrilling space dogfights.
A minor note: The Johnny Greene wasn't outfitted with the camera tech before she left Hilo, she simply had them in whatever passed for a storage bay. Thought I'd mention that before anyone else did.
Bring on the tale of the End Run!!!! Another awesome video man. And a wonderful featuring of the venture class. The small but mighty workhorse of the ConFed. They never get enough credit.
I hope I'm not going to jinx myself here, but I'm *planning* , and aiming for an End Run video before the year is out. There's still one or two topics I'm going to cover from other franchises before we get there though.
