Thanks for the video! Going to incorporate some of these tips to my setup, especially in regards to antennas. Broke the RTX antenna already and had to solder it back on. I went with Cockroach V3 frame and Hummingbird 30000kv motors. Currently trying to tune it. Very finicky , but maybe it’s just me since it’s my first fpv quad lol.

Need to raise camera a bit to prevent it getting pushed into board. My RTF Mobula 75 AIO5 has put a piece of foam under the camera perhaps to minimize such damage. I have lost multiple other boards with collisions that push camera into top boards, and ultimately fixed problem by using a taller canopy that lifts the camera to a safe distance to prevent it contacting my electronics during crashes.

HDZero Lowlight looks to be better I want to see some light up whoop gates on the O4 light, that might be an option for UDL

awesome to see examples from all over with the new system to get a wider understanding of different environments, performance and interaction. Out of curiosity, which OSD had the wrong channel info? Both were reading R2 :p

The fact both are flyable on the same channel is amazing. I could have sworn analog interference (same channel etc) makes diagonal lines on the HDZero side. It is encouraging that DJI will have an option for the users to actually participate in races!

We've been flying heats with analog, dji, 03, and hdzero side by side. We noticed more interference on some channels when flying dji/o3. We basicly kept the analog/hdzero on the low channels and dji/o3 matching r5-r8. What made a big improvement was the psycical distance between the pilots. Distance should be 4-6m at least. When flying outdoor the drones are more separated too. But we see increased static when flying indoors with 3".

Never mind the stutter and interference. How on earth did you fly when DJI basically went black in the lower light? O4 looks really promising and race mode is a big step up but so happy we have HDZero in the market.

In the bottom where it says R2 on top and bottom OSD, are you both in R2 in OSD? I honestly think it looks amazing comparing she is flying behind her and you both are next to each other in gates not blowing each others video out. Great Test!

I know this is old, but I just now noticed you have an Apex 3". Frame is so extremely rigid. I built it with F1404 3800kv tmotors, Speedybee F405 Mini BLS on 4s 850mah, with a Speedybee tx Ultra at tow 245g. But man it flies so poopy on stock settings. Unless at 10% idle, hitting 0 throttle wobbles around, and at full throttle it has this unsmooth sound. I just finished a Geprc phantom (could not wait for kayoumini to be back in stock) and that flies so perfectly smoothly. I can not drop the feeling the Apex has some fould in a componen.

I fly analog and just recently went to walksnail. Even though the hd is way better as far as clarity, I did notice this factor. Strangley I didn't think about latency until I watched this video.

Do you have a video on how to do the backup? Was wanting to keep the stock stuff just in case i mess something up 😅😅 total noob...

Some great ideas, I think another good idea is to put some e6000 on the camera focus lock ring to stop it going out of focus after a crash

Hello, what’s the battery pack you’re using for the HDzero goggles that you can put in the headband?

I fly analog for the latency reduction, flying HD feels so odd to me due to perceived input delay due to visual signal latency. Analog with an HD action cam if you need HD footage imo, fantastic video though!

After owning for 2 weeks crashing my 2 HDZERO whoops(mobula6 freestyle camera focus issues and Mobula6 ECO lost vtx feed) - am buying first analog(Air65).

How to refocus it after it looses focus, mine is blurry. Do I have to remove camera?

I bought BNF HDZERO Mobula 6 ECO and Mobula 6 Freestyle and I also use Radiomaster Pocket. I managed to update all of them to newest ELRS and setup binding phrase. Both Whoops bind and respond to all inputs when connected to Betaflight but then I unplug it I am having issues: Mobula 6 Freestyle HDZero does not arm at all. I guered it out that this whoop is SPI and does not have wifi. Mobula 6 ECO HDZero jumps when I push arm but nothing after that. This one strangelly UART and have WIFI.

I am getting feed on my HDZERO Goggles and telemetry works on Pocket. I also have Boxer and Zoro and the same issue with them too. At this point, I learned a lot but still unable to make it work.

An HDZero variant would cost about $200. And the extra power draw reduces flight times substantially with 1s quads, so it’s really a trade off.

Can't wait for the 1s to 2s board. I sure hope carl can pull it off. I would love to be able to put this in a 1s 3in toothpick. And not worry about frying an esc
