maybe its hard to believe but from the perspective of a person who lives 33 years in a place where summer reach the 60 C , this darkness and cold is like heaven . a peaceful heaven

I really don't know how you do it. I would be so depressed! But then again, I live in AZ, USA where we have sunshine almost every day of the year! Here, we have to learn to tolerate the heat, often over 110 F. in the summer!

Luv decorating with natural elements! Bringing nature inside when you can't be outside just brings a sense of calm. I enjoy decorating with pine cones and dried oranges and leftover pumpkins from autumn.

You are not the only person in this world. Perhaps your location in this world needs a winter village where the people all go to live in the very cold winter with thier animals. Big barns for the animals and small apartments for the people to gather for the winter. Perhaps that was the idea the author of the original"Grinch" had. As the ending of the show they all came together in thier town singing around a christmas tree, Not Alone. God bless.
