I so revere Seasonal Traditions….they bring purpose and meaning to Life…I wish those in the U.S. put more emphasis on these types of traditions….we are such a mixed bag here with all cultures having their own they find of importance…or sadly none at all. . Yes, the plants in your greenhouse are peppers in English. If they taste spicy, they are chili peppers. If they taste mild, they are called bell peppers. I believe English people call peppers “capiscums” from their binomial name (taxonomic nomenclature) Capiscum annuum. But maybe it was only one guy who wrote that, that makes me think it is so.
