Your first bread was perfect! Thank you for such beautiful videos! I've been watching the past few days and loving them. What a beautiful part of the world you live in. Greetings from Philadelphia, USA! :)
Another beautifully crafted video Sanna. Thank you. I can't wait to return to your beautiful country in February next year - my fourth visit in three years. Like you, the beauty of the art of natures winter captivates me. The shape of the snow, the Arctic twilight blue, the Revontulet. Thank you again for sharing these things with us whilst I await my return.
Thank you, and welcome here 🥰 Aah, you are coming in a really beautiful time in the spring winter. You have a lot of snow and cold days ahead of you if you come here during February ☺❄
Well Sanna, in my experience, its usually the smallest, most insignificant pieces of music or literature, or even a simple loaf of home-made bread that are enjoyed and remembered many years later...and they may one day, turn out to be a genuine masterpiece. You got it, don't worry.@@sannavaara
I second what @minngurung said as winter is approching us here in Scotland but instead of snowfall we have overly wet storms raging around , swamping everything and making people sad that what they have chosen to live by, has been taken from them in gushing rivers across towns and shires, where should there be dry green pastures. Thanks for sharing Sanna.
You have a very different winter there. Perhaps the start of every season makes people sad in some way because things are shifting and we are never truly ready for that 🥰
Sanna, your videos are lovely and inspiring! I am American, but my partner is Finnish and I'm planning to move to Finland in the next year or so. I've visited several times and love it so much, and can't wait for it to be my home! I also hope to visit the far north once that happens, and your videos are a great sneak peek :)
Wow, how lucky that will be to move there. I am from the US (Maine coast), I have never traveled much in Finland, but of Norway and I so love this part of the world. Best of luck to you on your move!
@@kayaker9912 I would love to visit Norway someday! It has mountains and fjords that you sadly can't find in Finland. Thank you so much for your kind wishes! 💕
@@xrosemary, once you are over there, it is close. I have been to Norway three times, my daughter will be going to a school for six months in 2025 and we plan to head up to the Arctic then as well. The Sognefjord region is the most beautiful! I hope you get there and I am sure you will love Finland, they seem to be much more civil and respectful over there. Best to you!
Your videos are unbelievably beautiful! I adore Scandinavia and your culture. I also love winter and nature. I know winter is very hard there but the beauty of it and the simple life style you live is truly amazing and beautiful. I wish you and yours many blessings and appreciate you sharing a look at what life is like in what has to be one of the most beautiful places in this world. PS: that first bread looked amazing to me! 😊
We have the same saying here in Canada, that we are surprised by winter every year. Whenever it comes it seems no one is expecting it LOL. Like you we talk about the weather A LOT, and our lives very much depend on it. My fave time of year is winter also. 😊
I love winter and have changed winter tires many times, just like you are doing. For safety, it is good the parking brake and put one piece of wood (firewood is perfect for this) behind (or in front) of the wheel that is opposite in side and length to the wheel you intend to change. For example, to change the driver side wheel, place a piece of wood behind the rear passenger side wheel, so as to prevent that wheel from rolling as you are jacking up the car in the front. Never get underneath a car while it is held up only by a jack. You can tighten the lug nuts completely when the car is lowered, to prevent the wheel from spinning. Those snowflakes are amazing. The snow looks like it is -10C.
Hello Sanna! ! I watch a lot of bloggers from Scandinavian countries. I admire your pristine nature and ability to live harmoniously, appreciate and not spoil the world around you. But it doesn’t surprise me much that in cold seasons, you heat your houses with wood. I live in Russia, we also have a long and cold winter, summer is very fleeting, I live in the Urals! But we have gas, which solves many problems regarding heating the house, but when the frost is -30-35, there is not always enough gas. the house becomes cool, on average our house temperature is 26 degrees.
Hello, and welcome here 🥰 I've heard many other countries use gas as a heating system. We don't have that kind of systems. I think Russia and Finland does have a lot of similarities. I wish to visit your country some day, there is a lot fo beauty in there.
@@sannavaara Thank you for your reply and kind words. Nature in Russia is very beautiful, just like in Finland. I dream of visiting your country. Hej Sanna...Nice to meet you! I love your creative spirit and what a beautiful place you live in Finland. I hope you have a great winter month. With kind regards Judith
I find that the deep of winter (January and February, here) is my most inspired time of the year, artistically. It's when I am likely to be more productive and creative. It's is when I am most "awake", in this regard, while the earth is dormant. It seems like a paradox. I do not know if other creative souls are also thus inspired.
When I moved to northern Canada was 1974. At that time the snow would arrive in November and the temperature would dip to -20 Celsius and even as low as -40 in January. Now with climate change the snow only comes occasionally , the temperature drops only as low as -10 or -20 ( in La Niña ) . In the El Niño year the winter goes up to a balmy +10 Celsius , much different than in the old days. It’s unfortunate because snow is so beautiful .
I just have to say I love your videos so much. 😊 Every video has such a beautiful scenery, peaceful and calming narration as well as inspirational lifestyle. There is a possibility for me to move to Finland next year (still haven’t made a decision yet 😅), but if I do I will definitely visit the northern part because it looks breathtaking! I just couldn’t believe that Finland starts its wintry season on early October! 😄 Here in Sicily, summer has just turned into fall since a few days. We can still enjoy warm weather, blue sky, and sunny days. But what happens in such an extreme and wonderful place like Finland really amazes me very deeply! We all are blessed to see how this world can be so beautifully different! Dear Sanna, my greetings to you from the farthest South of Europe! Ambra

I feel like I need to comment on this, as a Finn: Jonna Jinton is not the only Nordic in existance to live like this. 😅 In fact, more and more people are starting to return to their roots (to the countryside), and this trend has been prominent especially in Sanna's general age group. I also know a few Finns who have bought or rented a property in the middle of nowhere, slowing their life along the way. Finns were only moving to cities (as large groups) some 50 years ago; it's only natural wanting to go back.
