Very proud 🇧🇼🇧🇼thank you Epic Africa And Tuli wilderness this is Magical...
Awesome video! Definitely need to book a few nights there! The leopard sighting was magical! Looking forward to your next adventure!
The chefs seem to be well on top of their game. The food looks incredible....
I've been waiting for this video for a long time - thank you very much 🙂! The anticipation for January/February 2026 is increasing enormously 😎! What incredible leopard footage 😱😻!
Can you self drive? Nice video
So amazing Man
Sorry I have read it’s a diesel one. I am one of your followers and I like your content keep pushing more . Thanks you
Are you using a ford ranger raptor here ?
Vehicle looks awesome.Did you loose any vehicle warranties and are you able to provide me with list of mods and contacts so I may do exact same build.
Thanks for the message, yes happy to help! Can you drop me an email and I’ll send you all the info you need. Jason@ikamper.co.za
How do you book your campsites in Botswana? We are looking to do a similar trip next year!
I would recommend using ultimate routes, they can do all the booking for you and have great knowledge when it comes to routes and the camps.
Mike Platt owns/builds Aloha estate. He is a very well known fraudster from SA that ran away early 2000s . Anyone associated with him shouldn’t be trusted. Anyone that has worked for him has just survived or been robbed! The homes look great! Hats off to the guys that actually build them! But I will never support this place! The world is how it is because of guys like that! Money over morals!
I don’t know Mike so can’t comment on that but I do know the owners of the house we stayed in and they are fantastic people that should be supported and not punished for someone else’s actions. This person you talk off is in no way involved with this place.
Wow love ur new bakkie broer and nice family that's very awesome keep us posted with this nice adventure road trips love it man well done
Is this ethical?
They were part of a rescue so yes. Just the same as you can have an experience with a cheetah at a cat rescue place
Woah this is so amazing! Not only do I love the video, I always listen to ABBA's songs when whe drive to Kgalagadi😍
Thank you so much!!
what were the reasons behind the change of trailer? I’m looking for a camper trailer for the off-road adventures with wife and small son. I reached you reviewing the Metalian Maxi and it was quite convincing (btw great review also that one!!). I’m in love with the conqueror 440 (quite similar to this one actually) but after your review of the Metalian I started to doubt if maybe the maxi would be better option (for lighter and smaller) for off-roading. Now I watch you reviewing this one and again starting to rethink again 🤪 I would appreciate your comparison between both trailers and what made you change. Thanks!! Great video as always!!
Thanks very much for the comment. The main reason we changed to the Miskruier is our family of 4. It just became a bit squashed trying to have a good nights sleep in a RTT so this was the next best thing. I think as a family of 3 it will be easier to make the Maxi work. Metalian make a fantastic trailer to a high standard, one of the best you can buy in SA so I don't think you will go wrong if you buy one. I believe in them so much that even my shop in PMB has become a dealer and sell them. Bush Lapa wont give us a dealership yet because we are to close to another dealer LOL
@@EpicAfrica thanks for your feedback. How different to tow these trialers are? Specially off-road. I like a lot the Maxi, but in Europe, the price difference between the Maxi and the Conqueror 440 (which is similar to the bushlaka one) is very small. Weight and dimensions are not that similar. Thanks !!
Patiently waiting for ne next episode
Nice view and place sir...
Say, you didn’t have a canopy and towed a smaller trailer ( Genie or Bowhunter ) would it work with the 140 L tank?? I’m still sold on this Raptor especially because I’ll be mostly travelling solo. I don’t know.
I think in your case it would work fine and would be better on fuel with less weight and a smaller trailer.
If it were just you, maybe with one other person, would you recommend a trailer eg Metallian, or a smaller caravan eg Kewer?
I would then recommend either the Maxi or the Kewer yes!
Like your mods.
Thank you
Where did you get your towbar? Or at least the removable part? I also tow a BL and find the standard tow hitch a bit low due to the standard Ford drop plate. Thank you in advance! Love the channel!
Thanks so much, that tow receiver comes with the Hamer bumper so they could sell you one. Just reach out to them on sales@hamerafrica.co.za
@@EpicAfrica Thank you so much! And that tow receiver then fits on the Ranger factory towbar as well? Will reach out to them!
Love that place
Best review I have seen on any trailer/caravan! Legend. I have one issue, now I badly want one. Will have to wait till I have won the lotto..... enjoy and thanks for all the great content. I will hopefully in the future join one of these trips.
Thanks very much and hope you manage to get into one, they really are great campers!
Great video! We just bought a Maxi and interested on how you did the hot water mixer at the front? Thanks
Thanks very much, the mixer was from OnTap www.ontap.co.za/all/bathrooms/taps-mixers/exposed-bath-mixers/spring-black-bath-mixer-w-or-t-std-offset-blutide-194360.html
I want to put a conopy (90kg) on my Raptor & drawers (92kg) - my only concern is for the back to sag to much? As I can see on your video your back did not sag that much.
Payload of the raptor is around 650KG. It’s definitely going to sag the more weight you put.
I fitted 100-300kg coils at the rear and that worked very well with all the weight I carry on a long trip, including a 1T trailer so if you just doing canopy and drawers and dont plan to tow then look at maybe just a 100-200kg from turain taimer. www.terraintamer.com/4wd-products/suspension/smart-coils
Thank you for the wonderful impressions of Mohave Bush Camp. Very interesting for us, especially because of the time of year, as we will also be there in January/February 2026. Now I'm eagerly waiting for the Serolo episode 😉.
Thanks for the comment! You going to love it, the yellow flowers are next level!
Hello, we met at Magotho in Khwai, I introduced myself as a subcriber. I am enjoying my new cap. Its definitely for special occasions...
Thank you for saying hello and glad you are enjoying the cap!
Absolutely beautiful mate fantastic sightings ❤
Many thanks

What an amazing episode it is 🙌 , great job Jay can't wait for the next one🤗
Glad you enjoyed it!! Thanks for the support 🙌🏻
Great episode Jay, what a treat!
Thanks so much 🙌🏻
Amazing footage. Truly immersive Could I ask how big the game drive traverse area of this camp? Keep up the fine work
Thanks very much, its about 13,000 hectares but the whole of the Tuli block is much much bigger!
Wonderful imagery and humour! What is the difference between the two camps? Does the pride of lions have a name?😊
Thank you so much! The two camp are about 25mins apart from each other (at a game drive speed) but are both as wild as each other and just offer a slightly different setting.
Thanks for another awesome video, so good to see you traveling as a family. What a beautiful place. Africa is epic.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and our family travels!

Thanks so much 🙌🏻
Jay as always epic content, scenery out of this world. Jay continues to say what you want to say and how you want to say this is your platform your channel. Camping spots Flippen nice. The lions sighting at night priceless. Thanks for sharing
I appreciate that and thanks for the comment 🙌🏻
Please stop saying..but ya,and ya.... it is so irritating. You have such an interesting programme but very annoying your but ya..and ya makes it not nice to watch.
Sorry will try to improve
@@EpicAfrica doesn't bother me. I like the longer series! Well done
What a kak comment, you get 42 minutes of amazing content to watch for free and then you complain, if you don’t like it don’t watch. I think it’s the best one yet!
Louise Fouche - take a hike and get a life....Jay, ignore this loser!!!
I agree with Ed it's a rather crappy comment, @louisefouche5747 gaan drink jou tee en eet jou koeksisters en hekel n doilie as dit jou so baie pla. The rest of us are enjoying the wild through their lenses, most of us will never be able to see all these wonderful things if not for these guys. Thanks for all the effort you guys put in and for taking us along for the ride!
The switch from the raptor to the wildtrack review please.
Coming soon..
First family trip I have seen in the national parks - fantastic.
Thanks so much 🙌🏻
Thanks for sharing! Looks very dry. When did you guys go there?
This was September 🙌🏻
Watched old video again, why did you move from 3.2? Did it give you any problems? Reason i ask i also have 2016 XLT 3.2 DC 4x4 with 109000 km,s but i hear horror about motors etc, Any advise? Regards Jacque
I just got to 5 years old and decided to get something newer, no problems and when I sold, it had done 170k and was still going strong. I think they had issues with the auto box pre 2017 so I would just say stick with the manual in those years, mine was solid.
Love your trips but please stop using but ya.
YA LOUISE! YA! No problem
Might have to put that on the list. Enjoyed that.
You should! It’s amazing!
Hello Epic Africa family, another lekker video, thank you - if I was a hippo downstream somewhere i would been very jealous of that setup...camping in the river, hydrating in the shade 🍻😎 safe travels !
Thanks 🙏🏼
What was the average consumption on that raptor for the trip?
Over the 3000km we travelled from home and back the avg was 22L/100km (it was to high for our liking) so we are in a Wildtrak V6 Diesel now
That view from the cliffs! 😍
One of the best I recon! Time to get that trailer and join us!
Another great video series 👏
Glad you enjoy it!
