Chobe, Savuti and Khwai 2021: Episode 2 - We Camp at Ihaha & Experience Chobe!

In September 2021, we visited Chobe National Park as a part of a 24 day overlanding adventure through Botswana.
We camped at Ihaha Camp and had amazing wildlife experiences with many lions, elephants, buffalo and even a leopard in our camp.
Chobe River is an incredible bucket list destination, and we were lucky enough to take a cruise along the river and see amazing scenic landscapes and wildlife like elephant crossing the river.

@@EpicAfrica I think I saw the same group take a baby buffalo near there in December. No big males, just 2 subadults and 3 lionesses.

Thanks for the info on the Ihaha campsite. We would like to do one while we are at Ihaha and are wondering where exactly the boat ramps are. Did you have to go back to Kasane for the boat ride? Seemed like you had a great experience, can you tell us what the company was - its very difficult to catch the company name in the video. Thanks in advance for the information.

Hello, we used Kalahari tours and the boat leaves from kasane. Very good and reasonably priced so just Google them !

Leopard in camp. Eish! Thrilling and terrifying. After our Xaxanaka experience in May with the leopard attacking and killing a guest, we are super vigilant, especially with leopards. Awesome guys!
