Mopani Camp Kruger Park | Safari with Friends 2022 | Episode 1

On 26th December 2022, we left Durban and headed towards Kruger National Park with friends for a safari trip to bring in the new year.
For this trip, we decided against camping due to the extreme heat at this time of year, and sought out some affordable family chalet and tented accommodation along the way.
Our route and itinerary consisted of the following camps and stops:
1. Premier Hotel, Nelspruit
2. Mopani Camp, Kruger National Park
3. Dumela Wilderness Safaris, Pafuri, Mozambique
4. Mapesu Private Reserve, Wilderness Tented Camp, Mapungubwe
5. Leokwe Camp, Mapungubwe National Park
6. Mohave and Serolo Camps, Tuli Wilderness, Botswana
7. City Lodge Hotel, Fourways, Johannesburg
In this episode, we enter Kruger Park from one of the Southern-most gates, and spend the whole day driving through to Mopani Camp. We have several sightings along the way, despite some rain.

The Raptor is great, it towed well and is a lot more comfortable. It feels the load a lot more because the setup is quite soft but with the right coils it’s perfect.
I have since got into the new gen raptor with the v6 so we busy turning that into an over lander and will do a video once everything is done

Nice video Jay, just checking I'd you sell some of your merchandise e,g caps. If your do how does one get to order. I'd suggest with the Ikampa but need to grow the car first.
