Well the red bow might be questionable, but the tall guy shooting a 38 isn't. I've hunted with a 68" longbow, don't tell me a 38" is to big like the announcer guy claimed.
First time watching completion, great coverage. It would be nice to know what all these divisions mean. What are the limits of draw weight, what's the distance they shoot, what is the difference between this class and others? And how can they call it bowhunter class if they aren't all shooting hunting bows?
It boggles my mind that one can't have a magnified optic or a stabilizer over 10" (both restrictions make sense), but one can shoot giant diameter target arrows. You'll NEVER see an arrow bigger than 5/16" in the woods, and many of the 11s in this match would not have been 11s with a 5/16th arrow. Don't get me wrong, awesome shooting here. I just don't understand target arrows being allowed in hunter class when target sights and target stabilizers are not.
For everyone saying it has to be a hunting bow, I disagree. The first deer I ever killed was with a conquest light. That being said, here is what I would love to see in this class, 1. No jerseys 2. Arrows must have screw in points and be no larger than 19 series 3. Draw weight must be greater than 60 lbs 4. No lenses 5. Stabilizers under 16” 6. Competitors in this class must have a valid hunting license for their state 7. Here is the kicker, one of your arrows in the match must have a broad head on it and that arrow must score within 2 points of your highest score. And for that arrow, you are not allowed to move your sights. Let’s be honest, a lot of the people in this class, not the kid who won with a legit hunting bow, are shooting this class because they know they cannot win in open.
Plenty of people use glue in broad heads, lots of people hunt with 50-60lbs, stabs are limited to 12" already, no lenses already, Broadhead tuning at 20yds isn't hard/mechanical heads exist, and they destroy targets.
That’s stupid 90% of bow hunters have all moved to a thumb button and axel to axel doesn’t matter if you can kill a deer with it you can use it wether it’s a 40” bow or a 27” your mad cause you can’t do what they do
You should have to shoot a hunting bow in the bowhunter class.
The kid who won was shooting a hunting bow…..Mathews V3X
define hunting bow?
You know what he's trying to say lol....."IF IT AINT CAMO IT AINT FER HUNTIN!" 😂@@sethniebaum7477
Collins did

Great to see the winner shooting g a proper hunting bow you'd see in the woods, top effort 👍
Love seeing these young men coming up and doing amazing in archery
Another great finals! Almost as exciting as the mens barebow and open pro
That Barebow final is certainly hard to beat this year.
I guess you can hunt with a red bow but that’s messed up, and those arrows looked huge I may be wrong but Whiskey Tango Foxtrot 😂🤙
Man that ethen is good ,he will even get better can’t wait to see what he can do in the future, and he’s using a hunting bow.

That's. Definitely a target bow. I don't think he takes that bow in the woods
Hopefully next year Lancaster listens to its viewers and makes it so bowhunter class bows have to be 35 3/4 inch ATA or less, arrows to be
A lot of whitetail hunters dont hunt with a quiver on I dont agree with that requirement but the others would be interesting
You should definitely be required to use a hunting bow in a bowhunter class

Most of those sights are target sights. Just without the lens. Your arrows should have to have screw in points.
Young kid can shoot, congrat's.

Maybe introduce a bowhunter pro or advance class where its a 35 or 37"ata max and a 23 or .246 size arrow max?
Whats the distance there shooting from?
20 yards
H*ll yea, congratulations Ethan.
Should have to be 32 or shorter axel to axel 6 inch front bar and trigger release

Where did lancaster archery get his name and how did it starr?
It is located in Lancaster PA.
Shouldnt hunting tournaments be shot with hunting equipment and not target equipment
every year it makes me laugh that they can't teach the announcer how to say Lancaster properly
Majority rules. Spell it different
Everyone says Lan caster
