    Does this reset affect the fact that I have stage 1 on the car? Is there a risk that it will disappear or block the DME?

    If you have a different map from the factory, for example stage1 for hp, is this going to revert the ecu tune? I would guess probably no, but if you have some info's i would appreciate your answer. Thanks!

      did you ever find this out? i have a stage 1 tune

      No it will not mess with your tune.

      @@JefferyLong-ci2dr it did remove my tune and lock my ecu, i had to get it unlocked right after having this done. not sure where you got that info

      @@nurxyzznot sure what went wrong. Just did this on my tuned and deleted 11' 335D with ISTA. Car is running great, did not remove my code or cause any issues.

      @@JefferyLong-ci2dr nothing went wrong, i had a literal bmw master elite technician take care of it for me, anytime you're connecting your car to the latest version of ISTA it automatically is updating your ECU, there is no way around it. 99% of people do not have access to ISTA so they take their vehicle to the dealer, so for basically everyone it will absolutely lock your ecu and overwrite the tune.

    Great video thank you. I have replaced turbocharger and the booster pressure solenoid. I understand I have to carry out to reset adaptation. Is it possible to do a complete adaptation without ista D?

    • @HowToDoitright
      @HowToDoitright  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No the full reset must be done via istaD

      @@HowToDoitright Thank you very much. The ista software is a great usefull programs for doing many things on BMW cars. I need to calibrate my turbocharger, need to activate regeneration, and run diagnostic for finding faults. Can I do all of these activities and more with Ista?

    Great video thanks. When car is put to sleep mode for the 2-10 minutes. Should we disconnect ISTA and the computer from the vehicle or leave it plugged in?
    Thanks

      did you manage to find this out?

    Hey man great tutorial!! I have a quick question, on INPA under MSD80 screen gives many options to adjust sensors and engine components like F1>Idle Adjustment, F4>Tank Vent, F6>Throttle, and Shift + F2> Secondary Air. Is this inpa screen the same as what you’re doing but just on inpa, rather then on ista? When compared they both seem to have some of the same options like “idle adjustment”.

    Hi, I have replaced a MAP sensor in the intake charge pipe on my m135i. Can I reset adaptations just for that sensor? I don't want to reset adaptations for all other sensors.

    • @HowToDoitright
      @HowToDoitright  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No you can’t. Just do it for all. It’s better for the car.

    I can find adoptions for Vanos?

    • @leerichmond1459
      @leerichmond1459 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      do a vanos bleed. The vanos doesn't control timing based off adaptives. It simply adjust what is needed at the rpm , throttle percentage etc.
