Press the ESC Key for Startup Menu | How to solve problem | Laptop repairing

" Press the ESC Key for Startup Menu " If you turn on yours system (Laptop or Desktop) it goes into a held phase and it can't open the windows and it shows the messages "Press the ESC Key for Startup Menu " but when you press the ESC key it does't work.
And you don't want to loose your important data in Desktop, C drive, Document folder and in download folder.
So what should you do in this type of error or issue.
No need to install new windows operating system.
For Laptops
Step 1: Open the back cover of laptop (I use HP 840)
Step 2: Remove the battery of your Laptop
Step 3: Open the nuts of Hard Drive and remove from the surface
Step 4 After few second Plugin again Hard Drive and tight the nuts
Step 5: Connect the battery again.
Step 6: Close the cover back.
Now turn on your System it will work fine.

Hello. Just untighten the screws of the hard drive or actually unplug the hard drive from the motherboard?? That is confusing me.

Someone please help me out..
On pressing esc key, i dont see any kind of changes, even if i keep pressing the esc button during power on button, it still remain the same. It does proceed further , nor does it happen while pressing function keys like f1,f2,f6,f10,f12,f11

Hi, thanks for your video.
Same problem on my HP ProBook x360 440 G1. For the last 2 months, I was searching for a solution to this problem.
After pressing the power button my laptop shows "" Press the ESC key for Startup Menu ". Again pressing power button windows open. That means it opens when I press the power key two times & after opening the windows, all of the running programs closed.
Will this process works also for me?
Also can you please suggest any other solution without removing the battery & SSD drive? It's my new laptop that's why if there any other solution it will be better for me.

The solution I provided in case emergency if you facing such issue you just remove battery or some time Harddrive it will start your laptop
But
This is not the permanent solution
The solution is to service your laptop, some time the dust on processor will Couse this issue.
