For anyone thinking to buy a HP laptop, just don't, it's not worth the stress and effort to keep it maintainted and working somewhat functional. As a HP laptop user over the last 5 years I have spent literally WEEKS(real-time) of my time searching TH-cam and forums to fix the problems I have encountered. The incompatabilities with HP laptops and Windows 10 is insane. Every Windows 10 update, more or less, causes some problem with my laptop, whether that be the laptop gets stuck in boot loops after an update(causing me to have to reinstall Windows from a USB), graphics card issues(causing the laptop to freeze every couple of seconds), sound card and audio quality problems. Not to mention they are incredibly slow and frustrating to use. It's been an absolute nightmare. I'm now at the point now after another Windows update and stuck in boot loop for the 4th time(and finally because I'm throwing the laptop away) where I can't even reinstall Windows off a USB or DVD as a new install for whatever BIOS/system reason, computer says no. It gets to a point where you can't be bothered to try and fix it anymore, why should you? I paid for a product and all it caused was problem after problem with no support, and not being technically knowlegable with computers it gets exhausting.

If you can not change the settings in your HP BIOS or if changing them did not help your situation, skip that step and proceed with the rest of the video. What was the result of the diagnostic test?
Also, I think you forgot this. ONLY if you have a keyboard you plug in or mouse you use with the computer, unplug those, and restart the computer, and try again.

Can you tell whats the problem?
What model HP do you have? You said your 'trying to take all screws out'... Are they not coming out? Do you have the correct sized driver? Are they stripped?

Also, tried system disk in another hp machine and that machine booted up fine. Any suggestions?
If you cannot access and run the Diagnostic Test, then we cannot confirm the health of the HDD. Assuming its healthy, that would mean that it could be an Operating System issue. If BIOS is not keeping the settings when the computer turns off, it could be a sign that the CMOS battery is dead. That is the component that is supposed to keep power to BIOS when the computer turns off to retain the settings. I would try replacing it. Thanks for this guide. My hp facing DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION. Passed on checking hdd and memory. Date in bios setting also correct. Is it problem with Windows 10 corrupted? Thanks in advance 😊
That means your hard drive is bad or loose. I would first try 'reseating' the Hard Drive. That is where you unplug it and then plug it back in, making sure its properly plugged in and secure. Try the scan again. If same result, then replace it. You can see how to access the HDD here; th-cam.com/video/CxIuy2iiW8o/w-d-xo.html. Then you will have to install Windows onto the new one as seen here; th-cam.com/video/p_N_xV7j_Xo/w-d-xo.html. You can create your own Install Media for free as seen here; th-cam.com/video/g_UhiHScaSI/w-d-xo.html.
Thanks for the info. Great video
Yeeeeeeeeeesssssss!!!!!!🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🤪🤪🤪😜😜😜 I’m so happy. The F2 didn’t work for me but the esc button did and it was easy as pie. I just clicked on system restore and it wooooorrrkkked. I did run the test I’m great for that information. Turn it on push esc repeatedly and system restored yes.

My pc is not showing boot options what should i do?
If you can not change the settings in your HP BIOS or if changing them did not help your situation, skip that step and proceed with the rest of the video. What was the result of the diagnostic test?
Also, I think you forgot this.
ONLY if you have a keyboard you plug in or mouse you use with the computer, unplug those, and restart the computer, and try again.
God bless you 🙏

Hello
I have a hp pavilion notebook pc and i need a little help. The login screen works for me and i can sign in without a problem. However, when I enter the home screen, there is a grayish black screen. Is this the right video I should be watching? If not please send me the right video. (I’m having troubles with the f2 button part) Please let me know, thanks!
The screen goes black once it reaches the home screen? You cant do anything from there?
Have you tried hooking up to an external monitor? Does the problem repeat itself there?
Thank you so much.

Have you tried the other function keys?

@@TheDoctorSleepy If you cant access and run the diagnostic scan then we cant tell for sure if the Hard Drive is good. We will have to proceed troubleshooting as if it was good. Hey man, I dont know which guide should I watch, but here’s my problem: so installed windows on a ssd I bought, everything’s working dandy. But every time I restart, it’s just stuck on my Asus logo, it’s not loading at all. So every update I need to turn off my laptop.
Can you point me to a specific video?
The computer wont fully load as its stuck on the Acer logo. How do you get it to start? Force shutdown and just try again?

Everytime i turn it on, the screen will be loading for a very long time. I already do most of trick such as pressed the start button for almost 10-15 second, press ctrl + alt + dlt button tgt and pressed the esc button for couple of time but nothing happened. I dont used battery since my its already broken so i always used the charger everytime I want to use my laptop. Can i know how to fixed it? Thank you sir 🥺😊

Hp Z420 desktop. Black screen with hp logo. Bios ver in lower left corner and “B4” in lower right screen. No Fn keys work. Can,t access any of the tests. Just powers up to screen described above. Started shutdown and screen locked to logo screen. No combination of power on and Fn keys (or any other keys) gives me any change to the logo screen.
