Bro, you left out one of the coolest features. Setting up a staged order. Press shift while giving a team an order makes them wait for the execute command so you can have the two teams breach from two different doors at the same time
The speech recognition mods helps a lot with working with the AI. The menu is extremely clunky so being able to say what you want them to do is extremely helpful.
ANYONE GETTING THE "You're blocking me" CALLOUT BY THE AI: Let them stack first, then they will let you shift into the stack. Stacking before the ai results in them getting blocked by you trying to reach their position.
I wish they had a tactical map that can open up like that Kicking Doors game. So I can have someone cover the back. etc. The syncing of the different teams is confusing.

Man thanks a ton this helped a lot. Before this video id always be colliding with my squad and getting stuck in doorways because they would always just be falling in on my position. Knowledge about what the commands really do and are useful for has just been huge for my overall experience.

All, for those looking or asking about voice commands: There is no built in voice commands for the game. However, there is a popular third party software called voice attack and a nexus mod that is essentially a profile for this software that gives you commands. The voice attack software is $10 if you want the full version. The free version only gives you 20 commands which in my opinion is not enough for this game. I am at 100+ commands. The nexus mod creator has no plans currently to update the mod as he has moved on to other things, so you would have to wait for someone else to make a new profile available or learn how to create the commands yourself. While there is a lot of work and some cost there, from what I have played with it, it really adds a lot of enjoyment to the game. Even the base nexus mod as is mostly works fine, it just doesnt have any new commands added in 1.0.
If they modeled that mechanic to be realistic then I think its accurate. Even in a successful op, operators will carry that stress over and it will impact their personal life. In the games case, I think its meant to make you rotate operators for the challenge of personnel management.
Stress i believe is based on use of lethal force... so there is a base stress for dealing with the call, if there is lethal force used and suspects/civs killed... increase in stress, note deceased suspects will still be restrained. Officers Killed or injured equals large stress gain. Successful ops with few fatalities will prosuce the least amount of stress
Remember: Our Objective is not to make widows and orphans. It is to bring ORDER TO CHAOS (Ingame Banner) Basically you're guys are getting fucked up mentally due to having to kill people.
That successful op probably included shooting and killing at least one suspect. The goal of the team is to bring order to chaos and administer justice, not just serve as judge jury and executioner day in and day out. That would stress anybody out.
@@murda2k 4070ti, 32 gig ddr4 ram, ryzen 7 5700x 8 core processor 1440p resolution. The game stutters and runs really terrible for me not at all what i was expecting. On the other hand squad 44 now runs perfectly smooth after the update. It's really hit or miss super annoying.
the dev's still has alot more to do with the AI SWAT if the AI SWAT is presented with a large singular space but with multiple segments, it shouldn't be treated as one room the best example is the server farm in the intro, AI SWAT needs to stop right before a new segment and cover open angles the player should then be given the option to command the AI to continue clearing
I agree just grabbed it and thought that feature was okay in the tunnels system mission as I didn’t expect them to have that level of depth when given a flash and clear , but the bitcoin farm they pretty much completed it for me 😂
I've started playing again, previous to 1.0 I played when the night club was in development. Using AI isn't a new concept, I recall using AI team mates in some of the really early RB6 games, as well as others I've played. I thought I was doing something wrong when playing, as the game isn't the most intuitive. 75% of the time when using "clear on leader" I enter the room, start clearing, and then the AI just lets me go in by myself. A few times they followed me into the threshold, and then went back to restack the door. I then jumped into a single player match to try and work the AI correctly, and was still having issues with basic commands, half the time they acted as expected, the other half of the time they didn't do what I wanted. Two or three times they would enter an area, and clear it super well and cover all the corners and doors, stack up on an area in that room and keep sweeping, with out any extra commands; other times I'd tell them to go into a room and they would, but then just stand there on the other side of the door. But maybe its me...
Something i fantasize about the game is adding machine learning into the officers where they start off as recruits and don't exactly know everything or have experience. generally starting in an anxious state, they'd have unique personalities and can bond with you as buddies, not only would it increase immersion, it would increase the overall feel of the game, and how brutal it can be, they plan on adding a school level, so why not add people to get attached to?

There is a way with voice attack (a 3rd party software you can buy for $10). It uses windows speech recognition to trigger macros on voice commands. There is a nexus mod that is basically a profile for this software, but its out of date now with no plans for update… I used it today and it works ok but its just missing the newer commands from the update. I wish there was commands built in, but based on the way voice attack works it seems like trying to implement similar functionality into the base game would be absolute hell. I cant blame them for not wanting to commit dev time to that, although it wouldve been great to see. Hopefully someone else will come along with an updated voice attack profile, but until then it would be on you to start from scratch or fix the current profile available in nexus.
great video! i just started playing and have been starting to get the hang out the mouse wheel menu, but i didn't realize how much the simple move commands could do contextually (i.e. entering and clearing a room if you tell them to move on the doorway, or holding an angle on an open door if you have them move to be line with it)
One thing that got me killed on the 4U gas station was one of the officers was watching a door way while I was arresting someone, he then leaves the door way to try and arrest the guy I was. A guy opened the door and lit me up
Ok so you got yourself killed by ordering these guys to clear the same room as you and not telling them to cover you while you arrest the suspect. Skill issue, if you dont like what the AI is doing stop gawking at them and tell then what to do.
I joined Ready or Not yesterday and I like it alot. One of the best tactical shooters ever seen. But I would wish one more "team movement". If for example suspects start shooting hostages, the special forces team need to hurry alot more. In this case you would move as fast as possible to the source of shootings. Ofc the team still need to check for cover, but they need to prioritise more and maybe just skip doors or clean lineups. This could switch the pase of the game and bring in action between slow movements.
The Ai has become better for sure, but i still have quite some nitpicking. They dont fit you in the stack and will tell you that you are blocking their spot and to get out of they way (they cant seem to pathfind around me) They also still block me in tight spaces. Got lots of other complaints, but in terms of flowing with the Ai, it either seems to be go in first/alone or let them do it without you. Your explanation was good for what they are supposed to do, but still way too buggy in my mind
Yeah they do have to work more on their AI part and pathfinding. I had issues on multifloor map where I ask for room clear and they suddenly go downstairs to handcuff civilians that were downstairs while I was finishing clearing the room. I was so confused where they went. Forgot the exact name but it was the map on the video.
You have to let them stack up first. If you let them stack up first, once they are in position, they THEN begin to shuffle over to let you fit wherever into the stack you want. Stacking up before them results in them getting blocked by you. It is a little glitchy on doors in tight hallways but that is how you are supposed to do it.
Massive updates like this always have a "patch period" where stuff is really buggy. There's gonna be gamebreaking bugs, crashes, and performance issues for a couple weeks until the devs patch it all up. Also you can be part of the stack, you just have to shift in after they get in place

That feature is very buggy at the moment. If I que orders for both teams I have to be in direct sight of both teams for my orders to function properly, if I'm in a different room the AI will either not do anything, or they will all stack up on one room instead of each team clearing two room simultaneously.
I just wish they'd respond better to close in or 'just out of view' threats when holding positions. Brisa Cove and Mindjot seem to have the dumbest possible ai deaths because of the weird angles that the suspect ai seem fully capable of using. Last night, when i was playing mindjot, i had a split stack red team holding that door from the lobby to that glass square room that has the server center and catwalk. Bevause the guys stacked on the door were so sucked in to having their rifles pointed straight out, one of them died from a threat that was less than a foot and a quick button hook away from the other guy. A bit of flexibility to allow them to fall out of a stack or an exposed position (instead of taking 2 dozen rounds through a wall). If i hadnt been busy with the second to last armed suspect i'd have just recalled the guys. Non lethal runs fucking suck
I’m on a 1070 ti card; I get 50 - 60 fps on high settings. Switch to DX12 on launch. It will seem laggy on first boot but after it renders the level, its smooth sailing with little to no drops. Genuinely baffled at the inclusion of DX11 just because the performance is so bad on it. One CS Gas or a team cam view and its dropping to 10 - 15 fps, even on medium.
There is tacspeak for free on Nexus Mods with the profile. Works pretty well. Personally I prefer voice attack which you have to buy, but it's a lifetime purchase and not very expensive and can be used on any other game or anything you want there are profiles already available or you can create your own fairly easily.
Im late to these comments, but one thing i like doing is color coding my elements I have red element with tan/camo clothes and blue element in black clothes.
Most of the time my AI teammates focus way too hard on corners as they move so they'll end up going around a piece of cover that's at a turn in a hallway and quite literally walk backwards into the enemy and just get flattened.
The only complaint I have with the 1.0 AI is that when they enter rooms that require them to split up to clear the room, they tend to turn their backs towards the entryway that they are supposed to be clearing, walk into the room backwards, get shot in the back, and generally end up dying because they don't have time to turn around and shoot back. I think what is happening, is that for some reason they will prioritize watching a doorway that their other AI teammate is going through instead of the one they are supposed to be watching.
Is there any way to send the blue team to get into a room for one entrance while at the same time you are entering the same room with the red team for the other entrance of the same room? For example in that exact case that you show on the video, there are two entrances for that apartment. I want to try to breach with c2 and gas from the main entrance with the blue team, while at the same time, the red team is doing exactly the same from the back entrance. But I can't make it work. I left the red team waiting on the back entrance and I breach the main door with the blue team, and the red team just stay outside the apartment waiting. Is there any way to do this?
Its annoying though that you cant make an individual hold position and not move, next time you do a command he just comes no matter what, there should be an option ln in the whitr menu to tell him or soemthing.

forgot the QEUE comands when you can order the two teams to execute the order at the same time sometimes i sended the entire team to clean a room , all done , the moment i entered the room there was one enemy waiting for me
Nitpicking but the element callout I think there's a little bit of a lag to it which makes it a little confusing when you scroll through them too fast. Instead of Judge calling "Blue Element", I would be fine with just "Blue". But there's also the problem of Judge just keep saying "Red Blue Gold" over and over, but it's worth trying out I think.
I noticed that if you scroll fast through the elements that lag happens. Not game breaking but something minor they can probably tweak in a future patch.
question: How do you get your guys to clear a room, if you are in the room? So far, I can only give orders to clear, if I am outside, which means entering a room, then exiting, to give a command. I enter a room, and realize there is a whole dance floor to my left, and I want them to help me clear it. Now my options are MoveTo, Fall in, Cover, Hold. So I spend like 15 seconds trying to figure out what command to give, and 3 enemies come out of cover and start shooting at me, while my team, waits in the doorway, for me to die.
What I do personally, is to give red team a different outfit than blue team. So like a full OCP camo outfit for red team and give blue team an all black outfit, or however you want but just make blue unit the same as each other so you know they’re together, and vice versa for red! Hope that helps
Running on a 3060 and ryzen 7 and this game cant hold a solid framerate for me, still playable but on certain maps it can drop down to 25fps for short times
That option should be under the "Breach" command. Did you make sure your AI actually has C2 equipped? You can check that when you customize your loadout in the police station, there is a drop down that lets you customize your teammates as well
as the other two comments mentioned, before goin on missions you need to make sure you equip your ai team with the tools you want to have out on the Op. Then you'll be able to use them otherwise if no operator had those items then you can't use them in mission
In the minute 14:38 you said the with those commands the IA wait for you to go in , but every time i do that they enter the room automaticly even if im in the lead position . any tip ? is it a bug ?
i heard about when you get down the ai continue to play and compliete level without you, but maybe i just dont understand how to turn on that function, or they just still dont add it, every time when i get dead the game is over and even vhen i press spectate game is over anyway. Maybe someone knows how to fix it?
Yeah ngl I just wish the AI didn't break on certain maps, I genuinely can't finish ides of march because the AI will go into a room and one of them will stand in a corner doing nothing while the other gets massacred (guess its time i learn how to become a solo god)
love thid game but i only play w friends and It says we don't have the same mods when we both don't have any enabled. So it does not let us play together and to make it worse when we go to look at the list of no mods, it says active mods have changed when we go to back out of the list of no mods..... and asks if we want to restart, and you guessed it i can only press yes and it only quits the game doesnt just restart it
Someone probably previously had mods installed. You'll see it in the main menu top right to see who still has "phantom" mods on. They will have to look for the mods in their appdata folders (google how to do it) and delete the mod files there.
you dont have to look at the keyboard for that. Besides, its just 6 keys, while the 6th only giving me some little problem to press it sometimes. Just bind it for something else if you are complaining that much.
As far as the formations...If I had to tell my team what formation they need for a given situation, that is a poorly trained team. Tactics - are about geometry. dominating angles, and price/risk per angle. If I have to explain it to them, they need to go back to school or be dropped. No one has time for this BS. You either get the business or get gone.
@@callsigngrimey As a commander of a tactical team, my head is full of "What if" scenarios, communicating with TOC, securing egress for wounded team members and civilians, etc. I shouldn't have to micromanage stuff.
Idk if it's just me but I've been having a really terrible time with the new squad AI. Sometimes when I try to give them a command they'd just stand there doing nothing until I use the fall in command or even worst I had some cases where only one squadmate actually follow my order only for them to get gunned down. It's been happening consistently on Ides of March. On that map I'd usually be able to clear the hallways and center area pretty easily but it's pretty much always a gamble whenever I try to clear rooms. Idk they still have a bit to fix with the squad.
No it happened to me. Specifically if I split the teams and one of them is further away. If I say fall in, they won't move to u at all. And if they do move its only one of them and the other stands there stubborn, until I guess a gun fight happens then they come fully
I’m kinda liking the AI but I agree with you too, those cases you explained have happened lots of times to me too especially on the postal delivery map, which has a lot of action compared to other maps. Also I’ve been having difficulty effectively using the AI on big open maps, again just like the postal delivery map, many angles you can get shot from and the AI sometimes just doesn’t react to that
While what you say is true, anyone playing 'strategically' the way you describe would get wiped out in seconds. Especially 'individual commands' - in reality by now the experience los suenos army disguised as petty criminals would have rushed that room or sprayed the walls. The AI in this game is so broken that the only people who both 'win' and seem to enjoy it are those playing it like its cod and ignoring all the stuff your describe. It's the game we wish we had received, but isn't. Nice video though.
Idk what you played but i couldn't get A+ ratings by going call of duty as you stated. Low and slow and factor in a shield is the way when playing with AI.

It’s baffling that games like this don’t learn from dead island 2 where you can literally yell at zombies with your voice and they react. You can voice choose your weapon. It’s Alexa in a game. This should be the FIRST game to utilize this easy tech. These order wheels are 1990.

Also on a 3080 rtx, ryzen 5800x3d, with 32 gb of ram running on epic, no problem
i'm on 3070, runs at ~150fps with epic textures and medium/high settings + dlss
I had the same problem, i recommend you to watch some windows optimization settings videos, it really helps you more than the in game settings
@Czecher86 Try running on DivX12. I have a 3080-ti and had stutter issues until I enabled DivX12 instead of divX11

Ok so you got yourself killed by ordering these guys to clear the same room as you and not telling them to cover you while you arrest the suspect.
Skill issue, if you dont like what the AI is doing stop gawking at them and tell then what to do.
I joined Ready or Not yesterday and I like it alot. One of the best tactical shooters ever seen.
But I would wish one more "team movement". If for example suspects start shooting hostages, the special forces team need to hurry alot more.
In this case you would move as fast as possible to the source of shootings. Ofc the team still need to check for cover, but they need to prioritise more and maybe just skip doors or clean lineups. This could switch the pase of the game and bring in action between slow movements.
switch to DX12 if your performance is bad.

The Ai has become better for sure, but i still have quite some nitpicking.
They dont fit you in the stack and will tell you that you are blocking their spot and to get out of they way (they cant seem to pathfind around me)
They also still block me in tight spaces.
Got lots of other complaints, but in terms of flowing with the Ai, it either seems to be go in first/alone or let them do it without you.

Yeah they do have to work more on their AI part and pathfinding. I had issues on multifloor map where I ask for room clear and they suddenly go downstairs to handcuff civilians that were downstairs while I was finishing clearing the room. I was so confused where they went. Forgot the exact name but it was the map on the video.
You have to let them stack up first. If you let them stack up first, once they are in position, they THEN begin to shuffle over to let you fit wherever into the stack you want. Stacking up before them results in them getting blocked by you.
It is a little glitchy on doors in tight hallways but that is how you are supposed to do it.
Massive updates like this always have a "patch period" where stuff is really buggy. There's gonna be gamebreaking bugs, crashes, and performance issues for a couple weeks until the devs patch it all up. Also you can be part of the stack, you just have to shift in after they get in place

That feature is very buggy at the moment. If I que orders for both teams I have to be in direct sight of both teams for my orders to function properly, if I'm in a different room the AI will either not do anything, or they will all stack up on one room instead of each team clearing two room simultaneously.

I just wish they'd respond better to close in or 'just out of view' threats when holding positions.
Brisa Cove and Mindjot seem to have the dumbest possible ai deaths because of the weird angles that the suspect ai seem fully capable of using.
Last night, when i was playing mindjot, i had a split stack red team holding that door from the lobby to that glass square room that has the server center and catwalk. Bevause the guys stacked on the door were so sucked in to having their rifles pointed straight out, one of them died from a threat that was less than a foot and a quick button hook away from the other guy.
A bit of flexibility to allow them to fall out of a stack or an exposed position (instead of taking 2 dozen rounds through a wall).
If i hadnt been busy with the second to last armed suspect i'd have just recalled the guys.

I’m on a 1070 ti card; I get 50 - 60 fps on high settings.
Switch to DX12 on launch. It will seem laggy on first boot but after it renders the level, its smooth sailing with little to no drops. Genuinely baffled at the inclusion of DX11 just because the performance is so bad on it. One CS Gas or a team cam view and its dropping to 10 - 15 fps, even on medium.
same, but i find a "trick". go to setting/graphique and decrease scale resolution 75%. works fine and i've 110+- fps in epic settings
I don't think it's likely, but if they included the ability to command your squad with your mic, that'd be great and make the gameplay much more fluid
There is tacspeak for free on Nexus Mods with the profile. Works pretty well. Personally I prefer voice attack which you have to buy, but it's a lifetime purchase and not very expensive and can be used on any other game or anything you want there are profiles already available or you can create your own fairly easily.

Most of the time my AI teammates focus way too hard on corners as they move so they'll end up going around a piece of cover that's at a turn in a hallway and quite literally walk backwards into the enemy and just get flattened.
The only complaint I have with the 1.0 AI is that when they enter rooms that require them to split up to clear the room, they tend to turn their backs towards the entryway that they are supposed to be clearing, walk into the room backwards, get shot in the back, and generally end up dying because they don't have time to turn around and shoot back. I think what is happening, is that for some reason they will prioritize watching a doorway that their other AI teammate is going through instead of the one they are supposed to be watching.
Is there any way to send the blue team to get into a room for one entrance while at the same time you are entering the same room with the red team for the other entrance of the same room? For example in that exact case that you show on the video, there are two entrances for that apartment. I want to try to breach with c2 and gas from the main entrance with the blue team, while at the same time, the red team is doing exactly the same from the back entrance. But I can't make it work. I left the red team waiting on the back entrance and I breach the main door with the blue team, and the red team just stay outside the apartment waiting. Is there any way to do this?
Have u used the queue System? It's the only way i know so far to use both teams seperately.

Its annoying though that you cant make an individual hold position and not move, next time you do a command he just comes no matter what, there should be an option ln in the whitr menu to tell him or soemthing.
I haven't experienced that. I'll try to test it out more but if you give a "Move here" command they seem to stay put.
Did they make it possible for you to setup up a stack and clear on your own banger? I feel like running any other util is useless otherwise.
If you select "wait for leader and clear" you can throw a flash and then they'll clear

Not built in but there is a third party app called voice attack that triggers macros on voice command. Costs $10 if you want to have more than 20 commands, which for this game Im easily 100+ with all the different commands you can do. Sucks having to pay more but its so worth it

Nitpicking but the element callout I think there's a little bit of a lag to it which makes it a little confusing when you scroll through them too fast. Instead of Judge calling "Blue Element", I would be fine with just "Blue". But there's also the problem of Judge just keep saying "Red Blue Gold" over and over, but it's worth trying out I think.
I noticed that if you scroll fast through the elements that lag happens. Not game breaking but something minor they can probably tweak in a future patch.
question: How do you get your guys to clear a room, if you are in the room?
So far, I can only give orders to clear, if I am outside, which means entering a room, then exiting, to give a command.
I enter a room, and realize there is a whole dance floor to my left, and I want them to help me clear it.
Now my options are MoveTo, Fall in, Cover, Hold. So I spend like 15 seconds trying to figure out what command to give, and 3 enemies come out of cover and start shooting at me, while my team, waits in the doorway, for me to die.

How can you distinguish visually who is red and blue squad?
What I do personally, is to give red team a different outfit than blue team. So like a full OCP camo outfit for red team and give blue team an all black outfit, or however you want but just make blue unit the same as each other so you know they’re together, and vice versa for red! Hope that helps

Running on a 3060 and ryzen 7 and this game cant hold a solid framerate for me, still playable but on certain maps it can drop down to 25fps for short times

That option should be under the "Breach" command. Did you make sure your AI actually has C2 equipped? You can check that when you customize your loadout in the police station, there is a drop down that lets you customize your teammates as well
as the other two comments mentioned, before goin on missions you need to make sure you equip your ai team with the tools you want to have out on the Op. Then you'll be able to use them otherwise if no operator had those items then you can't use them in mission
Make it even better and use voice attack and command them with your own voice.
would be cool if you could have your mic on and talk the commands to the ai like a real swat team

The AI teammates suck. They don't know how to clear rooms, they almost always ignore open thresholds and get themselves lit up or killed

i heard about when you get down the ai continue to play and compliete level without you, but maybe i just dont understand how to turn on that function, or they just still dont add it, every time when i get dead the game is over and even vhen i press spectate game is over anyway. It only happens in practice mode, not commander. They will try to clear the entire map but often get stuck
My AI just float across the ground with arms straight out like a T and guns sticking out of their chest... and DO NOTHING when commanded to...
Yeah ngl I just wish the AI didn't break on certain maps, I genuinely can't finish ides of march because the AI will go into a room and one of them will stand in a corner doing nothing while the other gets massacred (guess its time i learn how to become a solo god)

So it does not let us play together and to make it worse when we go to look at the list of no mods, it says active mods have changed when we go to back out of the list of no mods..... and asks if we want to restart, and you guessed it i can only press yes and it only quits the game doesnt just restart it
Someone probably previously had mods installed. You'll see it in the main menu top right to see who still has "phantom" mods on.
They will have to look for the mods in their appdata folders (google how to do it) and delete the mod files there.

Wish we had the SWAT4 command system, I don't want to be looking at my keyboard when I want to press 7 or 6 to select an order.
Basically, keys 1-5 are more commonly used commands, and keys 6 and above are some rarely used commands.

you dont have to look at the keyboard for that. Besides, its just 6 keys, while the 6th only giving me some little problem to press it sometimes. Just bind it for something else if you are complaining that much.
As far as the formations...If I had to tell my team what formation they need for a given situation, that is a poorly trained team. Tactics - are about geometry. dominating angles, and price/risk per angle. If I have to explain it to them, they need to go back to school or be dropped. No one has time for this BS. You either get the business or get gone.
I think this isn't automatically done with the AI team so that you retain control as a Commander during a mission to make those decisions.
@@callsigngrimey As a commander of a tactical team, my head is full of "What if" scenarios, communicating with TOC, securing egress for wounded team members and civilians, etc. I shouldn't have to micromanage stuff.

Idk if it's just me but I've been having a really terrible time with the new squad AI. Sometimes when I try to give them a command they'd just stand there doing nothing until I use the fall in command or even worst I had some cases where only one squadmate actually follow my order only for them to get gunned down. It's been happening consistently on Ides of March. On that map I'd usually be able to clear the hallways and center area pretty easily but it's pretty much always a gamble whenever I try to clear rooms. Idk they still have a bit to fix with the squad.
No it happened to me. Specifically if I split the teams and one of them is further away. If I say fall in, they won't move to u at all. And if they do move its only one of them and the other stands there stubborn, until I guess a gun fight happens then they come fully
I’m kinda liking the AI but I agree with you too, those cases you explained have happened lots of times to me too especially on the postal delivery map, which has a lot of action compared to other maps. Also I’ve been having difficulty effectively using the AI on big open maps, again just like the postal delivery map, many angles you can get shot from and the AI sometimes just doesn’t react to that
If you actually use your team it's such an easy game.
While what you say is true, anyone playing 'strategically' the way you describe would get wiped out in seconds. Especially 'individual commands' - in reality by now the experience los suenos army disguised as petty criminals would have rushed that room or sprayed the walls. The AI in this game is so broken that the only people who both 'win' and seem to enjoy it are those playing it like its cod and ignoring all the stuff your describe.
It's the game we wish we had received, but isn't.

Idk what you played but i couldn't get A+ ratings by going call of duty as you stated. Low and slow and factor in a shield is the way when playing with AI.
