Our laundry closet had a door that swung out and blocked the whole hallway! So when we saw this beautiful barn door at Costco, we had to get it! It was so much fun to install it and our hallway is now all open.

Great job. we have carpet does that change height installs and the floor guide

If you have enough clearance at the bottom then it should be good. For the floor guide just make sure that you are drilling a pilot hole through the carpet and the underlayment into the subfloor .

Hi if we buy Two doors and bypass track separately. It's works as sliding one side two doors for size 69 x 80

If i have a double opening, do you think 2x door kits would work? And if I have floorboard coving trim, is there enough of a gap that the door won’t catch?

Hi Jarrod, yes 2 doors kit would work, you just need to reverse the design on the other door. We also had baseboard installed and there is enough gap for the door to slide easily. The backer board and the rail gives it a lot of gap. All the best for your project

Its about 3 cm from the edge of our existing door frame to the edge of our barn door.
