Thank you for this! Lifetime flat feet, contributing to ankle & knee issues. This morning I did some of this ankle/foot massage--as well as the hand massage techniques--as part of my warm up BEFORE working out. Hands & feet feel terrific. Just discovered your channel yesterday and look forward to exploring more of your self-massage techniques.

I was about to click off because I didn’t really believe massaging my ankle would get rid of the tightness and slight pain from sitting on a hard floor all day due to lack of furniture. But I stayed because I couldn’t sleep due to it. I’m shocked, it actually worked. Just 5 minutes of my best attempt to mimic the video and I can twist my ankle without feeling discomfort toward the left nor right.
Thank you, for teaching me this.

Thanks Spencer! I just began working at a place where I walk probably 2 and a half miles each day easily, and before that even I worked while standing around and walking all day. This will help me turn it into a healthy experience, as I realized those gel cushion soles I can put in shoes will ONLY go so far!!!

I just had a cast removed 2 days ago and back of lower calve muscle was very painful. I took a hot epson salt bath then used your massage idea to that area. Within 2 minutes my muscle was relaxed and not tight and hurting me. Thanks! Will continue to work out tightness as I heal.

Thank you for the Video. It encouraged me to get more movement in my ankle as I rolled it very bad. The outer portion where the bone is ballooned very bad and I was hesitant to move it. It doesn't feel good and is very tight and badly bruised. The pain is subsiding but I know I must dig in and massage it and start doing more compression.

Ummmmm how did that work so fast?!🤯definitely liking this video so I can come back to watch again and again. I’ve recently gotten serious with my strength training (trying to gain mass in my lower body) and have been using heavy weights… my knees have been clicking a lot with no pain but today my ankle clicked and every time my foot was completely flat it hurt, but hurt much more when I leaned forward telling me that the back of my ankle was not okay. I couldn’t stretch… I did this and now my ankle is back to normal😌thanks for your help!!!

Thank you. This has helped so much. 3 months ago I had ankle surgery. Fractured in 3 places. Currently holding on by a wire, plate and few screws. I can walk but still so stiff. This helped relieve some pain and I will continue to use this method of massage 😀
Kinda would be so good if someone else can massage me this way. Haha 😄 wishful thinking lol

Hey! Hope you’re recovering well 😊 may I ask, how are you doing now? Do you still feel some stiffness or pain? I had ankle surgery to fix my cartilage tear and currently still feeling pain and discomfort when walking because of the built up scar tissue and adhesion. I hope this is temporary and just needs time!

    • @joyshyam97
      @joyshyam97 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@99HanBan Hi, it's been a year now. My ankle had an extensive injury. I can still feel the stiffness and sometimes little discomfort. I was told it will never be the same again😭 not wrong. Lol
I have recovered well. Main thing is I can walk but not sure if I can ever run the way I use to. Hope you're doing well. One day at a time and keep moving around and exercise your ankle as much as possible. It will feel some discomfort as you're exercise. But it is all part of the healing. L
Keep me updated on your progress 😊xx

There are several things to relieve ankle pain
look for some easy exercises online
Use hot and cold packs alternately
Lose weight (if you are too heavy)
      Exercise more

Hi Keyli! It is so hard rehabilitating a torn ligament on the ankle! I am new to the injury...sort of in disbelief....and realizing it is going to take time...I keep trying to "hurry it along"... I am hoping you are back to full strength, I am getting some input from PT in the next couple weeks...currently using the boot cast/but not always...I have to walk sometimes! Have a nice day.

I am a teacher and sprained my ankle a year ago while coming down the stairs. Xray showed no fracture but MRI showed inflammatory synovitis with mild ankle joint effusion. I had no option to quit the job at that time, so I took no rest and kept working all days. I used to get cramps and pain while standing, walking, climbing stairs and swelling by the end of the day. The injury became more serious and I had to quit the job. It's been almost 2 months now I have been resting at home. But still I can't walk properly and my ankle shows stiffness, redness, swelling and burning pain. I can climb the stairs but can't go down the stairs easily. It really hurts. I feel hopeless and helpless thinking that my ankle has been permanently damaged. Not understanding what to do.... totally fed up now.☹️😫

thanks a lo, I have been for 3 days unable to sleep much and that I must have cramped in the leg...pain is so horrible, I managed somehow to lower the cramp from the leg "extensor" maybe to the ankle area.. now the leg which had powerful pain is gone, but the cramp is shifted to the ankle area.. I don't know how to kick it out of my system.. I managed to lower the cramp by massaging it from the med section of the leg to the feet downward.. at least I could limb around easier.. now leg is fine but around the exterior part of the ankle and lowr part of what maybe called Akiles?. how to get red of the "air.. or cramp " I have no fisio around. thanks a lot in advance.. three very difficult and painful days so far. shall I use heat too? thanks in advance.. right now it is 5 am in my region and can't sleep
