Great destination for a ride out, Derek. I love the Purple colour scheme! I get many compliments when I'm out on my CB360 or the DT3. Many people have good memories of our classic bikes. My YZF750R is Gunmetal Grey, Black and Purple, but the Pinky is more valuable. Purple is my favourite colour! I'm just going round to my lockup with my FZR600R to change it for my CB360. I will use it to go to my local VJMC meeting tomorrow night.

@derekb2765 It's running well, thanks. I did about a hundred miles on the Easter run, but it seems to smoke a bit at higher speed. I'm still using running in oil, and I will change it in about another hundred miles. I'm going to send my DT3 barrels to get the best one rebored and a new piston to get it running well again. Good luck with your engine rebuild. The joys of classic bikes!
Hi Derek, I live on the Isle of Man and very much doubt some one has come with a van to pinch bikes and then get straight back on the ferry. The cost of a return for a van during the TT is astronomic. Edward
The same thing happens over here (England). E.g. a few years ago, there was a local event involving lady bikers from all over the UK. Most stayed overnight at nearby hotels. A significant number emerged the next morning to find their bikes gone 😠
So far I haven’t been a fan of the 360 from any of the channels I watch. Distorts the pic too much. Your bike looks curved in the side view so can’t admire its beauty. The bikes music is lost while riding. Also the bobbing effect while going down the road makes it look toy like. I know a new 360 has just been introduced, but I don’t think it cures all the negatives I have with the system.
The distortion is more pronounced in certain views than others, depending on the width of view selected. Tbh it's something I can live with, given the flexibility that having 360 degree videoing allows 👍 The audio wind reduction filtering could be improved though.
@@derekb2765 yeah watching some smaller TH-camrs that pay for their own 360, wind noise and sound distortion is one of their biggest complaints. Now that the new model is out, I’ll be watching to see how those do. But I still see the vehicles bobbing up and down when moving.
Tbh I think the image stabilisation is pretty good, considering the amount the camera oscillates on the end of the selfie stick. The X4 is £500 in the UK, that's a lot to pay for an action camera 😯
Marvellous bike, you must be proud of it! These came out when I was an apprentice, if I recall correctly they earned a name like 'widow maker'? BTW, how does it like this cr@p E5 & worse, E10 'petrol' ~ I wonder if it causes issues??
It's a great bike! Not so much from the riding experience, but because of its styling, character, and because it's a conversation starter - as you saw in the video! It was called a 'Widowmaker', but that was more apt with the earlier versions. I only use E5 petrol with my classics. I've not had any issues so far 🤔

A fair point. Maybe exotica is easier to find at a major bike event such as the TT 🤔 Also the bikes would mostly be less secure.

Ha ha. Actually the H2 front brake is pretty good, but it's advisable to keep speeds down on these bikes lol 😉
