Ultimate Abyss, a.k.a. Jack Norman is harder than Krauser. I mean, sure, even eith the knife, it is difficult to defeat Krauser. But sooner or later, you get used to it. But Norman, oh boy, that one's a hard, exausting and stressful son of a mother to face...
...and are super easy to beat. Chris’ final boss is irritating but not because it’s difficult but because what you have to do to beat it takes forever and you have to rely on your partner to not screw it up.

Nah he's easy as hell, just gotta use the canisters. First time I played RE4 I didn't notice those and killed him without them. It was INSANE I literally emptied most of my ammo. I even used a Rocket Launcher at its feet but I think it dodged it. Then once I found out about the freezes it was easy af. One time he glitched on an open door and kept running at it, so I just knifed him to death lol

I know you guys like the RE2 remake... a lot. But Mr.X wasn't 'hard.' He was daunting, intimidating, but when you fought him, it wasn't something needed multiple attempts for.
@@misterwj9352 nemesis was never hard in official boss fights. If you want to kill him when he was chasing you around in the down town to get collectible custom weapon parts then yes he would be a bit more challenging since you need to conserve ammo and can't unload all them onto him.

In my experience, the final boss in Revelations was the hardest! With all the illusion-spawning and teleporting and shit... It took me tens of attempts to figure out all its animations just to perfect my dodge timing, 'cause the dodge mechanic in that game was so wierd.
One boss I really hated was in Revelations where the blonde girl turns into a monster and you run into her throughout the game, my god she was scary and being in the ship didn’t make it easier
@B 15 Cleo Pera Krauser was a pain in the ass and was by far the hardest boss on hard mode. You had to be extremely fast with the quick time event because on hard mode there isn't much time in between, you had to aim his head or feet with him constantly jumping and moving, to top it off you had to deal with time limit. That boss was manageable on regular difficulty, on hard no boss comes close.
Salazar is easy as long as you have sniper and magnum ammo. Krauser has a large random factor with his movements, making him either easy or very hard to hit, depending on how he behaves.
@Dr VR yeah I use grandes to kill large numbers of villagers. For Mendez I used the Tmp on the spine, and go to the second floor with the shotgun for when he splits. I never used my shotgun up til this point except to fight the one chainsaw guy. The rest of my inventory was healing items and handgun ammo for the red9 He's definitely harder than Salazar. Salazar I always cheesed with a rocket launcher.
What about the final battle against Alexia in Code Veronica? That was the most difficult boss battle, especially when she keeps moving around too much when you are trying to kill her with the linear launcher and have 5 minutes to kill her
Now that resident evil 3 has been officially released, you guys should remake this video and definitely put nemesis stage 3 in the first spot (nightmare or inferno). Really really tough

All of these aren't hard if you have the right equipment and have a little knowledge about their attack patterns. Except that damn Tyrant in the airplane in Code Veronica. He and Alexia's final boss fights are extremely stressful if you don't know EXACTLY what to do, not only because they are indeed hard but because those fights were badly designed
exactly. 1. the bosses never show any signs whether your shots at them do anything or not, 2. you can just royally fuck yourself if you haven't collected enough heavy ammo up to the boss battles because then they are unbeatable 3. they are just shittily designed. Alexias 2nd form is a joke. you can barely walk around and she unloads numerous attacks at once at you

If you have 10 fire arrows with the crossbow Alexia will go down almost instantly. The plane boss is also super quick to kill if you didn't forget to pick up the 3 BOW rounds for the grenade launcher. Hardest boss is NYX for Resident Evil Outbreak File#2. If you don't have a good team of online players who brought ammo and weapons, your only chance to survive is by knifing. Goodluck

I tried a "0 saves, 0 deaths" hardcore run on Leon B, and after 2 painful failed attempts, I ended up dying to Mr X. He did the powerup charge, which instakills you with his claw. I never felt so defeated, but ended up completing the same challenge on Claire's B scenario.
Dude, the clocktower fight is laughable compared to his final form (long tentacles and acid sacks) on Inferno... the final form is a joke on Standard and Hardcore, but try it on Nightmare and then Inferno with no shop items.. good luck!!
the tyrant in the plane in RECV is definitely the hardest. every time you're about to fight a boss the game gives you a few health items and ammo. that was not the case with that tyrant, you simply don't get enough. and it was just a very tiny space to avoid such a fast enemy.

Re4 had really hard bosses and special mobs like the chained guy in the castle, the creepy vibrators with 3 hearts in the sewers and the chainsaw guy you meet in the beginning of the game

I'm okay even with that as long as theyre not spammed in to every single cutscene, it gives you a cinematic view of when you fail, sometimes its badass, some times its chill inducing and other times its hilarious, like heavy rain is a good example, or when ever you miss a quick time event in re4 it shows you multiple cinematic versions of you failing, that extended amount of detail, work, and dedication the game devolopers added only makes me want to appreciate the game even more when i give it thought, it means you always have to be engaged especially when you are heading into a new game that you don't know where the quick time events are at... although it would be nice if the added a nice little message somewhere on screen saying that qte's are gonna play out in this cutscene 🤭
I don't like them in the actual cutscenes due to one wrong move or miss, your character auto-dies and you have to start over. It really gets annoying with the Krauser one where he tries to knife fight Leon before Ada intervened.
I’m playing RE 2 remake on all Classic soundtrack to pass the time during quarantine. I’m pretty all the GameStops and Best Buy’s are closed, so I probably wouldn’t be getting RE 3 remake anytime soon.
I still remember the first time I beat Jack Krauser. It took me like 7 attempts and on my final try I went through all of my ammo but didn’t miss a shot, and just put him into a corner and knifed him to death while I screamed at my TV in an untethered rage.
I would say the Tyrant from the original version of RE1 deserves to make the list, no auto-aim, no quick turn and no way of knowing how low your health is without checking your inventory makes the game the hardest of the original trilogy.
I just finished beating Chris’ campaign in RE6, trying outrun that B.O.W. was way difficult. Also, try to figure out and attack the Uroboros’ weak spot, including the final battle with Wesker, was hard in RE5. But I managed to get through it all!
Stay in corner, use mine through for eye, it goes down then go near and use broken butterfly/killer7 to shoot sazalar. Perfect shots may take Max 2 time to kill. Yes in first round I also use rocket launcher which get free near to Luis death. As it sell price is 15k and same ammo price can take to kill. 4-5 mine(1ammo price 500), 12-16 magnum(1ammo price 500) and + health.
Literally had my heart rate permanently raised because of Mr X. Holy Fuck when I'm constantly hearing his footsteps but don't know which door he'll come through I'm sweating so hard. Or when I turn a corner and boom he starts speed walking. But then when I blast him it feels like freedom.
On assisted difficulty, Mr X definitely. I played RE2 remake on all modes, assisted, normal or standard i dont really remember the word, and on hardcore. On all of those modes, he was still hard, even in assisted. If youre talking about normal difficulty, Mr. X still beats any other. All the boss fights on this list were easy. Nemesis was hard, but only on Inferno, which is the highest level of difficulty, and to be honest, it wasnt hard at all. Just dodge, dodge and dodge, and youre good. I finished nemesis inferno final boss fight in two tries, or one i cant remember. Salazar was literally soo easy i dont realize why its on this list. Just knife him, or even without a knife, just try to hit your shots. But i still respect your opinion saying it all depends on what difficulty youre playing. Also, it depends on the person himself, if he plays smart, or he play stupid, good, or bad. On nemesis inferno, you DEFINITELY need skill, and if youre not skilled or dont know how to time dodging, then consider yourself dead.

Jack Norman on revelations infernal, phase 1 and 2 unload on him with sniper rifle with lv 7 damage upgrade, phase 3 unload with MP5/P90 to stagger him and then magnum dump his back worked for me.
Use window trick. Just grab all the ammo around the place than shoot it from window. After that the game is fairly easy till final boss. Good luck, Norman makes Comm Officer a joke.
Super tyrant on hardcore for leon was so annoying. His insta kill had to be stunned by a grenade and the rocket launcher doesn't spawn until a certain amount of time passes and damage is done.

Personally I’d say Marguerite Baker in RE7, but that’s mainly because when she smashed through the window in her final form on my first play through I threw my controller across the room and screamed like a 4 year old. Not my proudest moment.

Thanatos of RE Outbreak 1 is hard too. He constantly chases you in the university, then you have to beat him outside the university. There will be credits after this but you have to beat him again at the back square.

I thought I got good until I tried Infernal....I ended up barely beating him after +20 tries and a whole day later as I couldn't it and quit for the day. If the dodge wasn't so bad the fight would be doable but dodging is more rng than anything in that game so the near perfect fight the game wanted me to have took ages to happen. Never again bro never again will I do that fight
@@Ice-ls9jz I had to look up a video on what weapons to use against him if I was to have a chance and found that putting a two shot burst mod on the ithaca shotty made hin flinch easily everytime in the first phase of the fight before he moves onto the harder stages. Surprisingly the guns that make it easier aren't the heavy hitters but instead the fastest ones (faster damage I'm assuming) such as that mp something AR and the L. Hawk magnum. I wish I had saved that rocket launcher from my first run in the game it would've saved the me the trouble lol. Nemesis Stage 3 on Infernal is working himself up there too but I'm glad he's not a bullet sponge at least. Needless to say Capcom needs better boss fight designs for harder difficulties because a bullet sponge and terrible dodging don't work out too well.
I see many people have already beat me to the comments on this, but I knew this video wouldn't include the final Nemesis fight on RE3 remake because this video came out before game was released. Also, the final Nemesis fight in RE3 remake is a joke on Standard and Hardcore.. try it on Nightmare and Inferno though with no shop items lol. On Inferno, took me 2 days.. 6+hours, 100+ deaths to beat. Hands down, hardest boss out of all RE games. I'm 32 years old, played almost every single Resident Evil game including Revelations and remakes.
Let's see, no mention of Uroboros Mkono, no mention of Ustanok, no mention of Verdugo, no mention of any of the Chainsaw men, no mention of the Executioner from 5, no mention of U3, no mention of Alexia Ashford, no mention of Lich Queen, and no mention of T-002. Krauser IS pretty easy, you need ton of TMP ammo, and when he mutates, and gets a shield, shoot with a pistol to The feet and Then, use Magnum, he Will Be dead in 30 seconds
I killed Mr. X with a flamethrower, 2 flash grenades, 2 grenades and one full shield heal and to see that he is the hardest Resident Evil boss makes me feel better about myself

Ramon Salizar’s fight is the easiest re fight if you know what to do and that is, Shoot the eye with the broken butterfly, then shoot the rocket launcher at Salizar. I beat him 8 seconds.
Nah, honestly, I think the Ultimate Abyss is easily the most difficult Resident Evil Boss to beat. Seriously, why is Nemesis on this list? I'm sorry, but any Resident Evil fan knows that the original Resident Evil Nemesis game was actually criticized for being too easy, which is why the remake is so looked forward to. Sure RE Nemesis is probably the second best original game (#1 Being RE4 in my opinion and #3 being RE7 which is the creepiest) but it was definitely just too easy. Resident Evil Revelations actually made me toss my controller, no other Resident Evil game has ever made me do that, and worst part is that three bosses out of that game are fuckin' difficult, I think there's only four, but the Comms Officer, The Crab lookin' freak of nature and The Ultimate Abyss were all just super annoying, bullet eating bosses that pissed me off...
The boss you fight as Jill and Parker at the end of Episode 6 in RE: Revelations took pretty much all of my ammo with every weapon I had at that point Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, and Pistol just to kill it. Again that quote Parker says when you take off the first chunk of it's massive health bar "How is this thing not dead yet?" is pretty much what I was thinking.
RE5 the giant ogre thing where you are in the back of a truck with mounted guns on it on coop professional. It is hard becauseboth players have to click the qte at the exact same time and you lose so much health per hit. Also Wesker on professional
I know Old Video. But i have to say something. 1. Krauser isnt that hard if you fight with a Knife he die realy fast and if you aim on his legs he will dont realy fight back. 2. Ramon Salazar is one of the simplest Bosses in Resident Evil. Step 1: Go Right with a Shotgun. Aim on the end of the tentacle at the Wall. Step 2: After the tentacle has gone go Back a little. Shoot on the Eye of the Monster to get the chance to Shoot on Salazar. Step 3: Take your Broken Butterfly that have you upgrade and Shoot. If you high enough with the Upgrade you dont need a second phase do defeat that Boss. Easy. 3: Mr X is a Hard Boss? Maybe in the original from Resident Evil 2 but not in the Remake. If you collect many grenades you can get the Rocket Launcher realy quick. With that way he has no time to hit you. And even he can make his One-Hit Kill Attack he will get a Explosion and the Attack is Stop. After you see the Rocket Launcher, use a Flash Bang and the fight is nearly over. Even on Hardcore that works.

verdugo deserves spot here, he is pain in the ass in sewers, unless you use rocket launcher, and that's cheap

What about the final battle against Alexia in Code Veronica? That was the most difficult boss battle, especially when she keeps moving around too much when you are trying to kill her with the linear launcher and have 5 minutes to kill her

All of these aren't hard if you have the right equipment and have a little knowledge about their attack patterns. Except that damn Tyrant in the airplane in Code Veronica.
He and Alexia's final boss fights are extremely stressful if you don't know EXACTLY what to do, not only because they are indeed hard but because those fights were badly designed
exactly. 1. the bosses never show any signs whether your shots at them do anything or not, 2. you can just royally fuck yourself if you haven't collected enough heavy ammo up to the boss battles because then they are unbeatable 3. they are just shittily designed. Alexias 2nd form is a joke. you can barely walk around and she unloads numerous attacks at once at you
@@DiamondDead at least Code Veronica was interesting, probably the most out of all of the resident evil games lore-wise and monster-wise in my opinion. doesn't make those bosses better, but the Nosferatu fight and the hilarious voice acting makes up for it tenfold for me.
If you have 10 fire arrows with the crossbow Alexia will go down almost instantly. The plane boss is also super quick to kill if you didn't forget to pick up the 3 BOW rounds for the grenade launcher.
Hardest boss is NYX for Resident Evil Outbreak File#2. If you don't have a good team of online players who brought ammo and weapons, your only chance to survive is by knifing. Goodluck

I tried a "0 saves, 0 deaths" hardcore run on Leon B, and after 2 painful failed attempts, I ended up dying to Mr X. He did the powerup charge, which instakills you with his claw. I never felt so defeated, but ended up completing the same challenge on Claire's B scenario.

the tyrant in the plane in RECV is definitely the hardest. every time you're about to fight a boss the game gives you a few health items and ammo. that was not the case with that tyrant, you simply don't get enough. and it was just a very tiny space to avoid such a fast enemy.

Re4 had really hard bosses and special mobs like the chained guy in the castle, the creepy vibrators with 3 hearts in the sewers and the chainsaw guy you meet in the beginning of the game

I'm okay even with that as long as theyre not spammed in to every single cutscene, it gives you a cinematic view of when you fail, sometimes its badass, some times its chill inducing and other times its hilarious, like heavy rain is a good example, or when ever you miss a quick time event in re4 it shows you multiple cinematic versions of you failing, that extended amount of detail, work, and dedication the game devolopers added only makes me want to appreciate the game even more when i give it thought, it means you always have to be engaged especially when you are heading into a new game that you don't know where the quick time events are at... although it would be nice if the added a nice little message somewhere on screen saying that qte's are gonna play out in this cutscene 🤭
I don't like them in the actual cutscenes due to one wrong move or miss, your character auto-dies and you have to start over. It really gets annoying with the Krauser one where he tries to knife fight Leon before Ada intervened.

Krauser is so easy to beat. You just need to use your knife, it took me like 15 seconds.
I still remember the first time I beat Jack Krauser. It took me like 7 attempts and on my final try I went through all of my ammo but didn’t miss a shot, and just put him into a corner and knifed him to death while I screamed at my TV in an untethered rage.
Salazar was literally the easiest boss fight ever all you had to do was go in the left or right of him and he cant even reach you lol
I would say the Tyrant from the original version of RE1 deserves to make the list, no auto-aim, no quick turn and no way of knowing how low your health is without checking your inventory makes the game the hardest of the original trilogy.
I just finished beating Chris’ campaign in RE6, trying outrun that B.O.W. was way difficult. Also, try to figure out and attack the Uroboros’ weak spot, including the final battle with Wesker, was hard in RE5. But I managed to get through it all!
I forgot about that Skagdad thing. That took me so many tries. The constant enemy spawns and shortage of ammo made that a nightmare
Stay in corner, use mine through for eye, it goes down then go near and use broken butterfly/killer7 to shoot sazalar. Perfect shots may take Max 2 time to kill. Yes in first round I also use rocket launcher which get free near to Luis death. As it sell price is 15k and same ammo price can take to kill. 4-5 mine(1ammo price 500), 12-16 magnum(1ammo price 500) and + health.

Literally had my heart rate permanently raised because of Mr X. Holy Fuck when I'm constantly hearing his footsteps but don't know which door he'll come through I'm sweating so hard. Or when I turn a corner and boom he starts speed walking. But then when I blast him it feels like freedom.

On assisted difficulty, Mr X definitely. I played RE2 remake on all modes, assisted, normal or standard i dont really remember the word, and on hardcore. On all of those modes, he was still hard, even in assisted. If youre talking about normal difficulty, Mr. X still beats any other. All the boss fights on this list were easy. Nemesis was hard, but only on Inferno, which is the highest level of difficulty, and to be honest, it wasnt hard at all. Just dodge, dodge and dodge, and youre good. I finished nemesis inferno final boss fight in two tries, or one i cant remember. Salazar was literally soo easy i dont realize why its on this list. Just knife him, or even without a knife, just try to hit your shots. But i still respect your opinion saying it all depends on what difficulty youre playing. Also, it depends on the person himself, if he plays smart, or he play stupid, good, or bad. On nemesis inferno, you DEFINITELY need skill, and if youre not skilled or dont know how to time dodging, then consider yourself dead.

Jack Norman on revelations infernal, phase 1 and 2 unload on him with sniper rifle with lv 7 damage upgrade, phase 3 unload with MP5/P90 to stagger him and then magnum dump his back worked for me.
The Comms Officer boss made me HATE Revelations so damn much. I refuse to play it to this day for that boss alone.

Super tyrant on hardcore for leon was so annoying. His insta kill had to be stunned by a grenade and the rocket launcher doesn't spawn until a certain amount of time passes and damage is done.

Personally I’d say Marguerite Baker in RE7, but that’s mainly because when she smashed through the window in her final form on my first play through I threw my controller across the room and screamed like a 4 year old. Not my proudest moment.

Thanatos of RE Outbreak 1 is hard too. He constantly chases you in the university, then you have to beat him outside the university. There will be credits after this but you have to beat him again at the back square.

I thought I got good until I tried Infernal....I ended up barely beating him after +20 tries and a whole day later as I couldn't it and quit for the day. If the dodge wasn't so bad the fight would be doable but dodging is more rng than anything in that game so the near perfect fight the game wanted me to have took ages to happen. @@Ice-ls9jz I had to look up a video on what weapons to use against him if I was to have a chance and found that putting a two shot burst mod on the ithaca shotty made hin flinch easily everytime in the first phase of the fight before he moves onto the harder stages. Surprisingly the guns that make it easier aren't the heavy hitters but instead the fastest ones (faster damage I'm assuming) such as that mp something AR and the L. Hawk magnum.
I wish I had saved that rocket launcher from my first run in the game it would've saved the me the trouble lol. Nemesis Stage 3 on Infernal is working himself up there too but I'm glad he's not a bullet sponge at least. Needless to say Capcom needs better boss fight designs for harder difficulties because a bullet sponge and terrible dodging don't work out too well.
I didn't find Mr X on RE2 Remake terribly hard. What I did find really hard was the final fight with Nemesis on RE3 Remake on Inferno difficulty

I see many people have already beat me to the comments on this, but I knew this video wouldn't include the final Nemesis fight on RE3 remake because this video came out before game was released. Also, the final Nemesis fight in RE3 remake is a joke on Standard and Hardcore.. try it on Nightmare and Inferno though with no shop items lol. On Inferno, took me 2 days.. 6+hours, 100+ deaths to beat. Hands down, hardest boss out of all RE games. I'm 32 years old, played almost every single Resident Evil game including Revelations and remakes.

I killed Mr. X with a flamethrower, 2 flash grenades, 2 grenades and one full shield heal and to see that he is the hardest Resident Evil boss makes me feel better about myself

Nemi only hard on inferno mode which isn't included in any other RE games. On standard or hard mode, new Nemi sucks ass and is a laughable boss.

Ramon Salizar’s fight is the easiest re fight if you know what to do and that is, Shoot the eye with the broken butterfly, then shoot the rocket launcher at Salizar. I beat him 8 seconds.

Nah, honestly, I think the Ultimate Abyss is easily the most difficult Resident Evil Boss to beat. Seriously, why is Nemesis on this list? I'm sorry, but any Resident Evil fan knows that the original Resident Evil Nemesis game was actually criticized for being too easy, which is why the remake is so looked forward to. Sure RE Nemesis is probably the second best original game (#1 Being RE4 in my opinion and #3 being RE7 which is the creepiest) but it was definitely just too easy. Resident Evil Revelations actually made me toss my controller, no other Resident Evil game has ever made me do that, and worst part is that three bosses out of that game are fuckin' difficult, I think there's only four, but the Comms Officer, The Crab lookin' freak of nature and The Ultimate Abyss were all just super annoying, bullet eating bosses that pissed me off...
Bullet Sponge is the reason why I call the boss you fight as Jill and Parker at the end of Episode 6 the most annoying boss in RE: Revelations.
The last boss on Relavations took 42 magnum shots from the lighting hawk. I was pissed!
The boss you fight as Jill and Parker at the end of Episode 6 in RE: Revelations took pretty much all of my ammo with every weapon I had at that point Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, and Pistol just to kill it. Again that quote Parker says when you take off the first chunk of it's massive health bar "How is this thing not dead yet?" is pretty much what I was thinking.
RE5 the giant ogre thing where you are in the back of a truck with mounted guns on it on coop professional. It is hard becauseboth players have to click the qte at the exact same time and you lose so much health per hit. Also Wesker on professional
You can shoot away the tentacles on resident evil 4. It’s only temporarily, but it’s long enough to shoot Salazar without having to dodge.

1. Krauser isnt that hard if you fight with a Knife he die realy fast and if you aim on his legs he will dont realy fight back.
2. Ramon Salazar is one of the simplest Bosses in Resident Evil.
Step 1: Go Right with a Shotgun. Aim on the end of the tentacle at the Wall.
Step 2: After the tentacle has gone go Back a little. Shoot on the Eye of the Monster to get the chance to Shoot on Salazar.
Step 3: Take your Broken Butterfly that have you upgrade and Shoot. If you high enough with the Upgrade you dont need a second phase do defeat that Boss.
Easy.
3: Mr X is a Hard Boss? Maybe in the original from Resident Evil 2 but not in the Remake.
If you collect many grenades you can get the Rocket Launcher realy quick. With that way he has no time to hit you.
And even he can make his One-Hit Kill Attack he will get a Explosion and the Attack is Stop.
After you see the Rocket Launcher, use a Flash Bang and the fight is nearly over.
Even on Hardcore that works.
