Have this knife and love it, but I really think it would benefit from a second version. Make the thumb studs better, and make them the external stops. Thinner blade stock as well. Also when I first saw it in photos I really thought it would be closer to a 9in knife based on the looks. We need a V2 Tuya!
I prefer that myself as ot saves weight and parts

MC: I own this knife and I mentioned this in your unboxing. The pivot system on this not as listed. It runs on bearings AND a bushing, like a Sebenza. When it's tuned properly it is some of the best action I've experienced on a knife.
Also, as for deployment, the thumbstuds suck, but are easily removed. I swapped mine out for TiConnector studs and it is a massive improvement.
Same here. I like the knife, but deployment is awful. Which studs did you pick. I definitely want to switch them out. Thanks
@@davidbernard9011 I put TiConnector #6 Zirconium studs on it, but the plain Ti ones would be just as good.
I gotta say, I am one of those people who has to have a front flipper when spending a decent amount of money on a knife. I know it’s probably the least convenient opening method, but just something about it that I like more than other methods. I preferred it to also have at least a cutout or fuller that I can use to reverse flick. But if I am gonna spend a decent amount of money on a knife that isn’t just a work beater, I gotta have me a front flipper. I completely fell in love the first time I ever used a front flipper, and I can’t say I’ve had that same experience with other opening methods. I will say that I could see why someone wouldn’t want a front flipper on a knife that would be used to potentially defend themself with. But that’s not why I buy knives, so that doesn’t really matter to me. I guess I’m just the front flipper kind of guy!
That pocket clip looks like that Russian crystalized titanium, in which case it's not a finish, its actually like that all the way through the material.
I really enjoy the design of this knife overall. It looks pretty aggressive. Not really a recurve fan, and the thumb stud issue bothers me. Nothing worse than having to really “try” and get a knife open.

I'm not gonna lie. Integrals aren't on my list. But that blade shape... that blade shape...
When I was younger I used to think I was in favor of the cans, but as it turns out, I am also in favor of the butt. Cool looking knife though.
Love the frame hate the blade ( recurve) dont like front flippers. To bad too I collect Integrals but this one is a pass for me. Price is ok though for people that like those features.
I know you don’t mean it this way, but every time you critique minimalist rectangles it just makes me think you really hate the UrbanEDC Minimalist lol
