you should check out the kiss quotient and the bride test by helen hoang!! the cast of characters is almost all vietnamese with many autistic representations. the bride test is one of my favorite romance books ever!! ❤️

it's so interesting to see your taste in books because we have similar reactions in a book store, but i love reading about history of art and guitars so i'm on a hunt for any books about those subjects while you love fiction and novels so any of the books you talk about i've never heard of yet i'm rly invested in what you're saying. i think your content is the best when you're talking about something you love, and it definitely shows with books ^__^ also, it would be interesting to have your opinion about his dark materials, since philip pullman has been compared to CS lewis but has actually said that although his books are also YA fantasy, he really doesn't have the same approach to god, religion and writing as cs lewis and they're actually polar opposites in their motives and way to write.
Haley you should watch the shadow and bone series on Netflix, it’s so so good, it’s just the first book mixed with the characters on six of crows. I watched the series first and then read all of the books and enjoyed them a lot more cause I had an image about how everything was, the characters are spot on!
people usually recommend to read the shadow and bone trilogy before six of crows because it helps you understand the world building a bit easier and just knowing everything but you dont need to read them now if you don't want to
