Where in Australia did you watch Mark, I watched him on World Championship Wrestling and at Thebarton Town Hall in Adelaide, South Australia??? He was my Mums favourite and mine of course, along with King Curtis Lukea. They were so nice, we would get there early and talk to them on arrival, they were so normal and unaffected considering. Turns out that in the early suxties she was and the ladies all liked Babyface Mark Lewin for his good looks . Turns out that Lewin was regarded as one of the best babyfaces of the sixties and was pure money for promoters .
Lewin was a freak of nature. He was a star in the 1950s!!! Legendary tag team with Don Curtis in the Northeast. Was still going strong in the mid 1980s as The Purple Haze with Kevin Sullivan, Nancy Sullivan (Benoit) & Maha Singh (Bob Roop) down in Florida.
Lewin was at peak physical condition here. He looks every bit as built as Atlas except that he actually worked his legs once in a while. The man was a beast around this time. Guy had a long and illustrious career. He should be in a HOF or two IMO.
shikat2371 The funny thing is that he is not known as a physique guy like Tony and Rick Rude or Roadwarrior Hawk even though he was obviously powerful . I think it might be that like Barry Darsow who was a beast in terms if strength he did not use a lot of display moves like Gorrilla presses etc
i don't think he even had that physique til later on in his career. i've seen pics of him from 10-15 years before that point and it's a different person altogether.

I don't know what the early BB drugs were that made Mark Lewin so impressive but he obviously had great genetics too. All the 80s bodybuilders looked massive without the bloated gut like this too. Thanks for this video. Super quality:)

Kevin didn't do his devil worshipping gimmick there because Jim Crockett frowned on it. They would return to Florida afterwards. Kevin did a run-in when Dusty was signing a contract to face Ric Flair with a quill pen dipped in ink. His family was present. Kevin threw the ink at Dusty, missing him but hitting his sister, which started a feud between the two.
Buddy was an incredible wrestler and heel. That plane crash ending his career was as sad and unfortunate as Magnums accident. Both hurt the spirt greatly. Buddy and Magnum would have made great world champs. Both are very successful today I'm happy to say.
I had fun back in the good old days hanging out in a Boston hotel room partying with Kevin Sullivan,Mark Lewin,Larry Zybysko,Nancy Sullivan,and a bunch of girls. What a night.We had a ball. Kevin introduced me to a Lady he called Slippers. If you ever see him ask about her. Most of the boys had fun around her. A really nice lady with nice friends. Lol

I think the first time I saw him he was in World Class Championship Wrestling, and he was older, and mostly just a mid card to lower card guy, who i don't think ever won any matches. I had NO IDEA that he was this jacked at one time.

Which wrestler ? Mark or Tony , I went in the 80’s to the Fresno convention center and saw Tony. Huge man then and would be even now.
For their time, both of these dudes had great physiques, but imho, Tony is on the Mount Rushmore of pro wrestling’s best physiques.
A bit too musclebound and he moved like a toy wrestling figure moves. Lots of better physiques depending on your criteria
