It depends on the body. The stock body mount kit works because it has different length post. That is what I use. My friend used PRO6070. The only issue is if you bash hard the top screw when the body screw caps screw to may bend or break. I like the adjustability of the PL, but the stock is more durable... but you lose body clips... so I recommend the clip retainers TRA5751.
For just bashing, probably similar. But not quite as the hinge points would stay the same. What makes the difference is the change in distance from the hinge points and not necessarily the overall length.

Could you make a similar gain in handling by just running 10mm wheel hub extensions??
