    Brother, as a youngest of 3 brothers, my oldest brother and at the time my father were into RC's a lot. This car has always been our main rc car. And i calculated, we have spent about 1000$ (including a 200$ castle system, a few sets of new tires, a replacement power system because that got burnt, and atleast 200$ in batteries) Just upgrading this very car. Its still the most fun car and the most durable car i have ever and probably will ever own. :)

    I've been racing my slash on carpet, it's built similar to yours and i bought a set of anti roll bars off amazon. They helped a lot! The front went on fine, but i had to cut down the arms a little, the rears did not go as instructed and took some creative thinking to get them to work!

    • @RCKnockout

      Nice! So those are the same as sway bars? What brand are they?

    • @EddieDesigned
      @EddieDesigned 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RCKnockout sway bars, anti roll bars, different names for different people, same thing in the end! They are cheap generic chinese ones that were labelled for the Slash, cost around 12GBP (approx $15)
      They come with 3 different bars for each end so there's tuning options and most importantly, they come with all the necessary hardware.
      All you'll need to add is 2 6mm spacers, slightly longer screws and a dremel to cut off the excess bar with!

    Your math is a little off...Unless I hear you wrong. After you say the shocks are $60/pair, that's $120 on top of the initial $190 cost of the car. That's $310 without adding in the Trans & metal gears you upgraded. You have well over what a Slash Ultimate 4x4 costs new.
