I got worse cognitive, memory, mood, joint, connective tissue and many other problems after menopause. I fixed myself with organic hormone creams and many supplements for balance and health. My experience is that women are being bullied into more radiation mammograms, bad hormone replacement products such as those made from horse urine, and/or herbal products that can cause side effects (breast pain, vertigo) and just don't make life normal. I noticed that I needed different minerals after menopause...for me specifically, copper (no more copper pipes here), and boron for muscle strength (in addition to other minerals I already took before menopause). Other problems that I fixed prior to menopause were getting magnesium threonate, and vitamin D with other support such as K2 and magnesium. After menopause I needed to add thyroid support food supplement which helps a lot. I am upset about the the terrible idea that gluten free, no GMOs and/or dairy free helps...not for me...I needed to get the glyphosate and other chemicals out of my diet and reduce sugar and EMFs . I fast for 12 hours every night. I love Good Fat, so I use olive oil and eat pasture raised meat and dairy. I could not continue my avid tennis and gardening without all of these things AND the Essentrics movement program. WHEN YOU NOTICE A BRAIN PROBLEM IT IS NOT TOO LATE. I got even more improvement when I added PEA/PQQ to my CoQ10, and take DMAE a few times a week, and the type II collagen capsules were a lifesaver for hand arthritis. These things need to be considered standard care because they are all expensive...but not as expensive as long term care. Some unusual things I do is take gamma E and boluloke (for arthritis prevention, and reducing blood clot risk from vaccines and HRT) and. I am just a normal non professional person, and I hope this helps someone.
I am so interested in this. Much of it over my head and obviously mostly aimed at professionals. I'm in my late 70's and would like to improve my chances of not developing mental decline. I've made notes, but a talk aimed at us ordinary folk would be good. But thank you for this. I'm in the UK.
I'm your age and having no health problem, after a random MRI i discovered i had mild brain shrinking,So having an MRI is critical to avoid mental decline... Thanks ❤
Talking about macular degeneration, I’ve gone intermittent fasting with healthy ketosis given up sugars, I’m not taking any medication’s, and my macular generation has gone on my eyesight has improved
Yet 25 years ago physicians were telling us to eat small amounts of food, throughout the day, to keep a steady glucose level. I have been a grazer my whole life & weighed the same since I was 15 years old! It is strange to listen to a totally different recommendation from ‘experts’.
@@davisholman8149 absolutely it’s really sad, my dad has alzheimer’s. My mom died of cancer when I was 24 and both of them could’ve been prevented so many people have died before there time
A restructuring of the medical training is necessary- before receiving a full Ph.D., "Nutrition & Neurodegenerative Disease" needs to be included in their training. (after all, vets have extended training).
It is Awesome to hear the Natural healing modalities discussions! And, the disease maintenance industry will always censor and actively shut this Down! Watch: Rockefeller founded modern medicine and killed natural cures. That is what we are up against! It's little naive to think MPSIC will Ever allow any natural to go along with their Toxic money making drugs.

Grateful you brought up MTHFR because few holistic doctors/influencers do. I have homozygous MTHFR and started taking Methylcobalamin about 8 yrs ago. At 68 I finally am free of low grade depression and declining strength and vitality. I'm trying to learn more about dosage levels.
Hahaha! I haven't listened to this yet. Reading the talking points, and some of the comments. When I read your comment having NO idea what it was about, I saw MTHFR as Mother Fucker. Kinda cracked me up... Goodness to u, in all things ✌💙
@@janematthew4789 I'm find videos on methane blue encouraging to try, (neuroprotective) but starting with only 1 drop is important so watch a video on dosing. Have you watched Elliot on EONutrition? I'm also going to try R alpha lipoic acid (with the letter R in it it means it's not synthetic, and it's 40 x more absorbent) - neuroprotective. We just have to keep at it - I know it can be a challenge. I wish you well. Did you get the Cov shot? I didn't and am wondering if I've been shed on with such severe neuro symptoms.
I live in the Shetland Isles and was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in May, June of 2017! I am only now realising that things are beginning to affect me and we are now in 2023! It's only now that I am noticing my mind is not as quick as it was! I read books, I write poetry, my main aim this year is to try to write for television, but I think I may have left that too late! Just wanted to say that I wish I had seen this a couple of years ago, but I'm going to give the information across to my sister who has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Thankyou for the information!
Why would you not take advantage of the info for yourself. They've been having phenomenal results with memory care patients with diet and deprescribing all that statins and bad meds. It could extend and improve your condition. Its why I am here at 59y/o.
Excellent presentation, but did I MISS AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF HEALTHY MENTAL/ PHYSICAL AGING? I.e: THE COGNITIVE DAMAGE IN THE ELDERLY WHO LEAD LIVES OF SOCIAL ISOLATION?
Thankyou so much for Your very interesting and informative talk. I wasn’t expecting anything so demanding as I starting watching this just before I was getting ready to sleep, consequently I will need to watch this again when I am not so tired. Once again thank you so much. I needed to hear what you both had to say 😊👌🔝
Hi Cory, if you are having symptoms get evaluated . It can reverse early decline but it gets harder the more advanced the dementia is. Even in advanced dementia improvement is possible but odds are you are not going to totally retern to normal.
Hello from Sweden, this interview is extremely good. Must listen several times. Are there tips on how to take said samples through, for example, self-tests 🥚🥑🍋
Please consider interviewing Sally Norton author of Toxic Superfoods. Oxalates are extremely serious to for all of us and few have recognized this until her work.
Sounds great but what insurance companies will cover the tests. What good is all the research if nobody can afford the recommendations? I would not be able to explain to my doc all the complicated tests I might need
...you are right....I'm in Canada (Ontario) ...we have "free Healthcare " but when I asked my doctor about testosterone test he said...why you need this test...it's 60 dollars...what about all the tests that this doctor he's talking about...?
In need that cognoscopy now from head injury. I have a couple of other problems involving the brain feel this creeping up. I'm going to ask my NP to line me up with the right place. THANK YOU.
I’ve heard it’s important to rinse off our body sweat (toxins) after exercise or sauna. Is it counterproductive not to bathe immediately post sweat. Do the toxins or salts get reabsorbed?
Please could you 1.write out the abbreviations used here for both the tests and what they are for, anx what the results should be optimally. 2. The genes you refer to and what they represent. 3. Why is fructose bad for the brain ( as opposed to the liver )? I'm talking specifically about consuming whole fruit that has fructose in it as opposed to sucrose or corn-fructose syrup. 4. I'm aware of processed pork being a risk factor for cancer, but what is its connection to cognitive function please ? 5. What's Inflammatory Dairy ??
APO E 4 is a dna snp or allele, something we inherit from each parent. We get one copy from our mother and one copy from our father. When Dr Bredesen says one copy, that means a person has one APO E 4. Homozygous or homozygote means both copies are APO E 4. And the third is no copies. This is a simple blood test looking for specific dna markers - ask your doctor, or demand, depending on who your doctor is. The brain definitively runs better on ketones over sugar. It appears sugar is just unhealthy for us overall. Not only contributing to high glucose numbers, but also metabolic disease, in general. Plus, cancer thrives on sugar. Difficult to cut down and get off, but it can be life saving. Look for good quality monk fruit with no fillers, as a replacement. Some people, me for instance, cannot do dairy. Dairy in my diet creates inflammation. Instead I use coconut milk. And IMO, with wheat being grown and processed so differently than it was in times past, this also creates inflammation in the GI system and can create a leaky gut, where the cilia lining the intestinal walls is degraded and the walls become porous. Gluten leaks into the blood system and our antibodies, our soldiers, see this gluten protein as foreign invaders and all havoc breaks loose. It is so unfortunate that the foods available to us today are not anything like what our grandparents ate. Foods are genetically modified, ultra processed, full of sugars and seed oils - all bad for a healthy system. I realize this didn’t answer your questions exactly, but hope it helps. Check out the Facebook group Bredesen Protocol Support Group, unaffiliated.
I think this is a decent request. Most of these Drs. fill their answers with wishey - washey, not understandable, abbreviations. Some, I think, are made up by them right there & then! (my opinion)
ApoE ( Apolipoprotein-E) so many articles about it on the internet. For starters, www.ncbi.nim.nih.gov.pub is always a good one , it’s the National Library of medicine from the national center for biotechnology information
Dr Robert Lustig and Ron Johnson are experts in fructose and insulin resistance. Dr Lustig has explained that fructose is bad … dangerous. But if you eat fruit which has fructose, you limit the amount of fruit and don’t juice it - whole fruit can be managed by the body because of its fibre content which helps mitigate the fructose digestion.
Ps Rather than doing so many tests which one can be obsessive about which causes stress and worry, would it not be better to just maximise our diet to reduce all risk parameters ? To increase our exercise and use of our mind and actively manage our stress etc Most of us know if we have sleep apnoea. I'm not sure what to do about the methylation prevention though. I didn't quite catch what supplements you suggested for that. High infra red ( at the end of the day) is good to walk or sunbathe in for mitochondrial healing. I think this is a great video 👍and my only criticism is of the requirements necessary to implement the advice into one's life :- if you are tracking Everything you do, and testing your biochemistry to make sure your parameters are good, then you could not help but become an obsessive and compulsive person. It could potentially impede your ability to Live and have Joy ! Although as said above, I will try to incorporate as much as possible, without measuring everything & an emphasis on enjoying life ( whilst we can in a world of state control). The information contained in this video would benefit a much larger audience if there was a link or notes to explain all the terms used ( as I requested in my post below). Thank you
Insurance companies don't reimburse for prevention because our system is based on a treatment model. Counseling isn't reimbursed unless it's more than half the visit. It seems you'll have to pay for these tests yourself if you want to know the information.
Both tests are awful to get though, which is a shame. :/ PET scans expose you to lots of radiation, and spinal taps are just awful to endure from what I’ve read.
I haven’t had good sleep for years. Just a few days a week. Approx 4 hours a night. I’m over 65. I work still and exercise and eat the Rt foods like you suggested and No cognative decline yet
Curious, if I may, about your“ not good sleep “ comment? Do you have some ailment that prevents you from sleep or do you just feel like you don’t need to sleep longer? Even though I know the body does require a certain amount of sleep to rest, regenerate, and restore itself for optimal health, but like you I consistently average about 5 hours and wake ready to start my day. I’ve been this way most of my adult life. I’d like to sleep longer so that my body can do it’s job of maintenance during the night. I guess I’m just wondering since you say no cognitive decline on 4 hours of sleep, is this by choice or because something prevents you from being able to sleep, like insomnia? Thanks
Is it possible for a dr or technician to evaluate a recent MRI - 11/22 and determine how many years the patient had dementia - if yes what type of Dr (Dallas TX ) would I seek to consult
I’ve got a single. My mother passed in 2021 after a ten year battle with Alzheimer’s. Her father passed from it in 1992. I’m terrified, and have started taking L-serine, nac, nicotino ribosome, and carnitine, plus K2 and D3.
My mother too. I m concerned about the genetics but trying to give myself a good chance with diet/exercise and healthy living. I take some supplements and one I’ve read about recently is Nattokinase, the enzyme in the food natto. It had begun to be studied as a amyloid protein clearer. It is kinda difficult to eat (🤢) so I take it as tablets.
Jeez no wonder my 60 year old husband has been displaying symptoms the past few years, and been on a C-Pap the last 9 years but has been resistant and weaning to using it for 2 years He’s been working 3rd shift as a fuel driver for this past year. Black out blinds during the day while sleeping and refuses to open them on his days off. I kick him out to the back deck for sunlight and he fights me on everything I’ve recommended which this neurologist has mentioned; working out to a sweat, it’s enough to get him to go for a daily walk. My diet is vegan but he still eats some chicken and eggs, wild fish, but no dairy. I’m blown away by this doctor’s information. My husband’s father, uncle’s and aunt’s on that side all suffered from it. I just recently came to conclude that he needs a functional medicine doctor to test for heavy metal toxicity and Lyme disease too.
Change your diet ( low carbs and protein), eliminate sugar, work on your gut ( so many things to kill those bad bugs in the gut, take probiotic, fish oil, great multivitamin , detox and avoid stress and get closer to good people
Please eat your own food you accustomed since your childhood, and do not experiment with Indian or Japanese cuisine b/c you need new enzymes to digest it , do not listen modern diet experts , they are misleaders !
*it capitalized whole foods by accident on my end, I definitely am not talking about the overpriced store, commonly referred to as Whole Paycheck lol I am simply referring to foods like heads of lettuce, carrots, zucchini, strawberries, raspberries etc
Start with a very low carb or ketogenic diet. Don’t eat three hours before bedtime and stay fasted for at least 12 hours. Start with simple things you can do , like removing sugar or snacks. I came upon Bredesen’s diet accidentally when I put mom on a keto diet and she woke up. Previously she slept most of the day. She was in a mild cognitive stage of dementia.
Please read Amy Bergers book on reversing Alzheimer's. It's called Alzheimer's antidote. There's information on diet and lifestyle and how many of the symptoms can be undone. And yes like someone suggested above in the comments Amy too suggests a low carb/ ketogenic diet. The brain needs cholesterol and when we reduce it drastically through cholesterol lowering drugs that's a road towards dementia.
We need some very practical basic remedies what to take, supplement wise....and eat and posible drinks to make...that we can all grasp and advise our loved ones of these remedies... Also maybe a drawing board on screen writing them down so we can take note of them all please Dr. Dale Bredesen. Thankyou in anticipation.
I don't have a PHD in biochemistry so most of this conversation just numbs my brain after a time. Or maybe it's because I'm 79 years old and my brain is starting to shrink... And most doctors don't even know about all these tests or how to evaluate them (especially at the VA where I go for my healthcare), and who is going to pay for all these assessments and tests? Oh well...
Does Dr. Bredesen practice in the San Francisco Bay Area? If not, could you recommend a neurologist who understands the principles discussed by Dr. Bredesen?
I have MS, one of the many symptoms I have is a decline in my cognition which is a well known symptom of MS. How relevant is all of this to me? I’m in the UK so would it even be possible to have here any of the tests and procedures that you talk about?
It is all relevant. Metabolic issues cause most disease just show up different. Inflammation. I know he said it was good to eat processed olive oil but studies show not to especially if you are insulin resistant and fatty liver.its best to avoid all processed food since the oul is extremely concentrated. But if tou want the benefit just eat the organic olive. Always do your research. Oh and there is oil in everything in the store and in everything in restaurants. Dr fuhrman is a good source too. Avoid added salt. There is plenty in the food naturally. It is corrosive to the blood vessels. Asians get most hemorogic strokes and usa geys most ischemic strokes
Check out Lions" Mane Mushrooms. Nerve regrowth factors, plus nerve protective factors. Healing nerves damages from all kinds of damage, stroke, accidents, Alzheimers,,etc. good diets are a plus.
Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Schizophrenia and ALS are caused by a defective ATP7B copper binding gene, which was discovered after mapping the genome. Patients with these disorders have been tested and they all had elevated levels of free copper, which is copper unbound to ceruloplasmin. Except for Schizophrenia which onsets at around age 21, a person with this defect will live a relatively normal life, aside from high BP caused by the elevated free copper. Their brain is protected by the blood brain barrier which starts to deteriorate when they get old and becomes permeable, allowing the toxic free copper to enter the brain, where it short circuits it. Bound copper is totally safe and non toxic, but unbound is toxic and a conductor of electricity. When the free copper gets high it also depletes the body of B12, zinc, D3 and other things. When the B12 gets low at the tissue level, methylmalonic acid gets high and blocks enzymes in the urea cycle that convert ammonia to urea, which causes an elevated ammonia. Elevated ammonia levels have been found in Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ALS, and Schizophrenia and ammonia is a neurotoxin. In the cases of Schizophrenia, the person is born with a defective blood brain barrier, which is why it onsets earlier. To reverse these conditions, you first need to replace all the vitamins and minerals that free copper depletes. You also need to start chelating the free copper by taking 50 mg of zinc one hour before meals, 3 times per day. Ammonium Tetrathiomolybdate is another copper chelator which is much faster than zinc. Allopurinol is another thing that will lower free copper, and also losartan BP meds. Turmeric/curcumin also chelates copper, which is why people in India rarely have these so called diseases. Many cases of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ALS, and Schizophrenia are caused by ACE inhibitor BP meds. Oxybutynin incontinence meds also cause symptoms that are misdiagnosed as one of these diseases. There are numerous people who are prescribed Lisinopril, become psychotic and are misdiagnosed with Schizophrenia. It's synthesized snake venom from the Brazilian Pit Viper. Along with neurological problems, the ACE drugs also cause swelling in some people. I got bit by a copperhead in Oklahoma, which is a pit viper, and my ankle swelled, just like some people who are taking ace drugs. A certain percentage of people are born with a deficiency in ace proteins, and they'll have an adverse reaction to ace drugs. Another thing that ace drugs cause is hypoglycemia. It'll knock the glucose level down into dangerous levels, and when the glucose goes too low, it causes confusion, delerium, hallucinations, tremors etc. When a doctor sees this, they aren't gonna know it's a BP med, so they'll diagnose them with Schizophrenia if they're younger, or Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or ALS if older. As long as they continue taking ACE drugs daily, they'll continue in a state of delerium. Once the drug is discontinued, they'll go back to normal in one to two days. The free copper test code at Lab Corp is 279071. This is different than a serum copper test. This test will measure the amount or ratio of unbound free copper contained in the serum copper. Normal free copper should be 0-10 mcg/dl. Also get your loved one tested for methylmalonic acid and ammonia, then look at their medication list to make sure they are not taking Oxybutynin or an ACE inhibitor. Good luck and God Bless
What if you have 45 year old copper pipes as I do in my house? Can't afford to buy water or to replace pipes. And WOW! I have copperheads on my property, but never got bit! Also, was taking Oxybutynin, but only for a short time. Thanks for this info!
A profit competition/dominance driven system based on bell curves and one size fits all has not proven effective to enhance human health or care for all.
Enjoyed this tremendously 👍 I am a high responder to a ketogenic diet, my lipids go extremely high my cardiologist "accused" me of having familial hypercholesterolemia and put me on Ezetimibe. I'm so confused 🤔
High cholesterol is not the killer. There have to be other factors involved, because high cholesterol is PROTECTIVE AGAINST alzheimers disease. Chronic inflammation is behind obesity, type 2 diabetes, and alzheimers disease.
Magnesium and vitamin D, or both incredibly helpful at avoiding Alzheimer’s. A foggy head will be cleared quickly with magnesium. It’s amazing for the brain you really notice the difference take 1000 mg per day
I grew up drinking lots of milk and at 82 I still have a glass every day. However, I also drink kefir and eat Greek yogurt. I don't know if I would be healthier without dairy, but I just am addicted to it.
Do you both have referrals for doctors in OC California for mast cell activation syndrome, toxic mold and mycotoxins illnesses, etc. I need one to trust. Please. Thanks so much
WHERE do you find doctors who can do these early diagnostic testing? I have been looking for a functional / integrative medicine MD for MONTHS in a major US city … AND I can’t find a doctor. My primary care doctor won’t order these tests (even though my health insurance provider has ALREADY TOLD ME they would PAY for the testing) because she says she doesn’t know what to do with the results. PLEASE point me in the right direction to find an MD that understands and can implement these protocols.
Just how many acronyms can you fit in a 50 minute video. I think it'd be nice if some of them were defined. Also, I'd suggest that most GP's are no knowledgeable about these blood tests described here, nor do they have the ability to order them. Will medical insurance pay for them? Where are the doctors that one can see to deal with these issues?
How can we demand these tests?? How do we know which tests to start with and to insist on? My husband is 82. He is showing major signs of cognitive decline such as short term memory loss and trouble understanding his check books, his beautiful handwriting is getting bad and he has a hand tremor that he tries to hide. I tried to get him tested with husband new doctor, but he just did a 10 question softball "test" and nothing came of it. I don't know where to go and I'm concerned it may be too late. I have tried getting him on some supplements but he's inconsistent about it and also about the other meds he takes- blood pressure and blood thinners (he had 2 stents placed about 10 years ago. Anyone have suggestions?? I'm really frightened about all this. I'm 62 and doing everything I can for him and for myself (prevention).
I’m 73 and I have severe spinal stenosis L1 through L5. My doctor says don’t walk and don’t stand too long. Any suggestions for getting my heart rate up ?
The Apoe4 gene is a genetic marker for a higher risk of getting Alzheimer’s He said if you have one Apoe4 gene you have a 30% higher chance of developing Alzheimer’s If you have 2 copies (one from Mom and Dad) your risk is well over 50%
It’s APOE4 - the genetic marker for dementia/Alzheimer’s. You could carry one or two of these genes. You can test it with gene testing kits like 23&Me.
I make a home made salad dressing in a mortar and pestle... Smash 2 cloves of organic garlic... 10-min. Later, I add 4-6 peppercorns... Smash in... Then sometimes I add an organic clove... Smash... I might add a half teaspoon of cayenne pepper... Then, Himalayan salt chunks, maybe a teaspoon, smashing that in... then add two tablespoons of raw buckwheat honey. Continue to smoosh and swirl that into a smooth honeypaste... Then I add about a quarter cup of organic, extra-virgin olive oil. After I work that it. ( Still all being done inside my mortar and pestle) I then add the juice and pulp bits from 1/2 organic lemon. ( Some say the rind of organic lemon is good to use, but I have not tried that). This is a tasty dressing. I just hope I am not defeating the purpose by using buckwheat honey. I love the taste, and it's supposed to be very healthy. ( PS adding the clove to this recipe is optional, and might taste better without it, but I try to use cloves occasionally to get a good combination of healthy exposure, so I use a clove occasionally). I hope this salad dressing idea is ok with the honey. Would not taste as well without buckwheat honey.
Sounds great but I always worry about honey. Most of it is blended rubbish. Hard to find the real stuff and real honey is very expensive as is decent olive oil which must always show date of production on the bottle. Olive oil goes rancid after six months. In supermarkets cheap olive oil has no production date on the bottle.
i went to that website. took the test. age 50 albiet i am actaully slightly closer to 51, siad average for my age is 50 and i got 59 on the test. what does that mean. also, if you click on log in or register, is thre a cost?
What I don't understand is how people are smart enough to graduate from medical school yet you don't know what you are doing. The doctors sound more confused than the patient. How difficult is it to order a test? The print out tells you if it is normal range!!! What is going on??????
I had skin cancer too much sun when I was younger don't want sun Now. I also have a very tough time being out in the heat can't breathe. So I have weight outdoors as much as possible. I do take Vitamin D supplement.
Very interesting, but my god, how can a normal human being swim through all the medical jargon???? I'm am reading, but will find more simple and straight forward ways to interpret what all this means!!! Thanks anyway!
Just eat clean. Get sun, sleep, relax, bible, I know he said it was good to eat processed olive oil but studies show not to especially if you are insulin resistant and fatty liver.its best to avoid all processed food since the oul is extremely concentrated. Hmm, surely you need healthy mineral levels so that:- a. Vitamins can reach optimum absorption especially shifting gut biodome to more bifido appropriate gut equilibria b. Vitamins can do their job as many processes rely on iron, copper, zinc, manganese, iodine, selenium, molybdenum etc - otherwise patients present as vitamin deficient when many diets comparatively plentiful c. Aid liver function mopping up damaged proteins eg cerruloplasmin, many iron enzymes etc d. Consider decline in NMDA neural receptor dependent on healthy copper levels lest it fails and offers trigger for the cascade to alzheimers and some other neural conditions eg parkinsons as recent autopsies show...
I think an approach to improvement on getting the information out is to take on the accountant mindset. In Sweden, where I live, quite a great deal of the practising MDs receive their compulsory continuous education from the main pharma companies (just as accountants does receive theirs from the accountant firms, but the accountant firms can not ignore rules because their clients would face loss at IRS or in administrative courts). But pointing out the cost for society* with the number of people being sick, on disability, early retirement. * = i) The cost for the individual having lesser paid jobs than their actual potential compared to if they were healthy and for shorter time, leaving them with lesser pension. ii) For society as a whole, cost of a healthcare just monitoring (at best) symptoms will increase cost, and following i) it chips away at the taxbase. Insurance cost is increased for the individual as well as employers, who are carrying a considerable cost.
you are so right. here, the big pharma companies are running the show. our "leaders" don't do things that make sense and are right and prudent for society, they do what's best for the bottom line of big insurance companies and big pharma etc. Big taxes are coming soon for everyone who isn't getting all the "free" stuff, because someone actually does have to pay for all the stuff they give away to get votes.
specify what to do .. the tests are too expensive with major inflation everywhere.. Include everyone in your experiments..pls🙏 The drs around the world are still unaware of functional medicine and are practicing the old revenue attracting and very damaging protocol. Where do we go to when there are no functional medical professionals around..most places countries? This is why we the collective urgently need all the help from drs like dr bradesen through these interview.. I am suffering with brain fog cognitive decline and cant afford the expensive foodstuff or supplements or the blood tests ... Think of ways to help us pls ....We deserve a chance to live..be free from brain degeneration and metabolic issues.. We have stopped sugar a long time ago.. If one is deficient or is insufficient in nutrition nutrients etc one will naturally fail the cognoscopy or any tests until nutrients are properly received absorbed given to the collective. because the entire world IS malnutritioned.
Good stuff, went to his website and checked the pricing and it stated insurance might not cover it all and out of pocket is not feasible for me, so…..? Tuff shit for me
Thank you for the building the time stamps. [The following is only for my very own reason to refer to 13:20 vitamin D, 21:55 nutrition, 27:00 grocery list; 32:00 exercise - kaatsu bands for seniors ]
Go Keto, Skip breakfast and fast for 16hrs a day, get out in the sun (with a hat), walk 1 hr a day in sun light. No more sugar or fruit. Take some MCT oil. Omega3 2000mg a day, you can do it, if you try.
No. The body is very responsive to the types of fuel we give it. Eat only real whole food. Meat, not salami, etc. No white flour products or polished rice, or sucrose. More protein and vegetables.
You might need to load up on other nutrients and minerals like zinc and magnesium before you start taking vitamin D3 again, and start with very low doses, see Dr Berg explain his perspective here th-cam.com/video/-cwT4MN9cJA/w-d-xo.html. Btw the sun is the best source of vitamin D3 🌞
@@MotherMartini great option but in northern climates it takes much more than we can get because of the angle of the sun through most of the year. Other UV light might be necessary as vit d is so important ( also animal meats especially grass fed meat, butter oil) BTW always include vitamin K witch directs calcium out of vascular system and soft tissue….so so important!
Carnivore here...never felt better. You should mention quality of water being consumed. Its so important. Dementia is #3 Diabetes...sone veggies cause inflammation due to Oxylates..
The science is there and evolves everyday. Doctors should listen to their patients protocol successes. I had an md tell me my vitamin D is too high. Little did she know what I take many are now doing.
Our current economic model - infinite growth measured by GDP - precludes a healthy population. If people were healthy fewer health care services and treatments would be purchased, the GDP would drop and panic (recession) would ensue. This is the Universal Answer ($$) to WHY (don't we use technology "x;" improve the food supply, etc.) Cheers!
Then the healthcare model will gradually shift from treating a disease to preventing a disease. There’s a tiny shift in healthcare towards preventative care, although still unaffordable to many. We can’t change the whole world all at once, but we can change it doing small steps; to change the world our values and conscience has to change. Remember, we consumers vote with every single dollar we spend. Every individual should have a “health” and self-care motif. Perhaps then, at least our children will reap the benefits of our doings. Cheers! 👊🏻✌️
Most people have never had their C reactive protein tested. I remembered. A few years back I was reading about vitamin D3.And if it's low your c reative protein could be very high. So I Ask my daughter to test my vitamin. And he said it was low and I asked him to check my c reactive protein level. Sure eniugh ut was low. He then recommended that I take five 5000 ius of d3 a day. I took it with k2 with coconut oil after one month my Measurement of tmeasurement of information was zero. A person can have perfect cholesterol and still die of a heart attack.Because there reflammation in their body was too high. Inflammation causes so much damage. Keep away from food that causes inflammation. Cause that can go to the brain.
This is a lil over my head. A lot actually but it’s a start! I will get this.
God Biess you. Thank you for taking the time to share here. This will help many people. ❤

I am so interested in this. Much of it over my head and obviously mostly aimed at professionals. I'm in my late 70's and would like to improve my chances of not developing mental decline. I've made notes, but a talk aimed at us ordinary folk would be good. But thank you for this. I'm in the UK.

Hi Cory, if you are having symptoms get evaluated . It can reverse early decline but it gets harder the more advanced the dementia is. Even in advanced dementia improvement is possible but odds are you are not going to totally retern to normal.

To increase our exercise and use of our mind and actively manage our stress etc

I think this is a great video 👍and my only criticism is of the requirements necessary to implement the advice into one's life :-
if you are tracking Everything you do, and testing your biochemistry to make sure your parameters are good, then you could not help but become an obsessive and compulsive person.
It could potentially impede your ability to Live and have Joy !
Although as said above, I will try to incorporate as much as possible, without measuring everything & an emphasis on enjoying life ( whilst we can in a world of state control).

Try getting ketones at least 6 days a week and normalize blood sugar. Prob help a LOT.
How can anyone live in this environment and have “ low toxicity” ??

Start with a very low carb or ketogenic diet. Don’t eat three hours before bedtime and stay fasted for at least 12 hours.
Start with simple things you can do , like removing sugar or snacks.
I came upon Bredesen’s diet accidentally when I put mom on a keto diet and she woke up. Previously she slept most of the day. She was in a mild cognitive stage of dementia.
Buy or check out his book from your library The End Of Alzheimers.

Where do you get them?

Hmm, surely you need healthy mineral levels so that:-
a. Vitamins can reach optimum absorption especially shifting gut biodome to more bifido appropriate gut equilibria
b. Vitamins can do their job as many processes rely on iron, copper, zinc, manganese, iodine, selenium, molybdenum etc - otherwise patients present as vitamin deficient when many diets comparatively plentiful
c. Aid liver function mopping up damaged proteins eg cerruloplasmin, many iron enzymes etc
Your book name?
specify what to do ..
the tests are too expensive with major inflation everywhere..
Include everyone in your experiments..pls🙏
The drs around the world are still unaware of functional medicine and are practicing the old revenue attracting and very damaging protocol.
Why Dr is not showing the spelling all of medical wards he is using in this presentation
I have a diagnosis of Logopenic aphasia. I have been told that there is no cure and I will die. Is there any new information
There are no cures to anything, according to the medical community. It would make sense to follow this plan and see how it goes.
Good stuff, went to his website and checked the pricing and it stated insurance might not cover it all and out of pocket is not feasible for me, so…..? Tuff shit for me
How much does this testing cost??
Does it matter?
Thank you for the building the time stamps. [The following is only for my very own reason to refer to
13:20 vitamin D, 21:55 nutrition, 27:00 grocery list; 32:00 exercise - kaatsu bands for seniors ]
It's ALREADY THERE!! We don't need your LAME comnent🤬
@@ysunsets
Sorry to upset you. It is for me for my own particular reason for quick reference.
It is C dificile. Bacteria overgrowth after a round of anti-biotics which clears all the competing bacteria from the system.
Does this protocol work for dementia or just Alzheimer’s?
This was good, but I didn't understand much. Pity, but there you go
Did he say olive oil has omega 3s??😢 27:40
26:54 keto stereotypes addressed, thank you
OK, I'm old! Am I too old to do something about cognitive impairment? (I'm 82)
no. you can !
Look up Methylene Blue.
My Vitamin D level is always low, under 20. But taking Vit D supplement always puts me into atrial fibrillation so I can't take it. Any comments?
You might need to load up on other nutrients and minerals like zinc and magnesium before you start taking vitamin D3 again, and start with very low doses, see Dr Berg explain his perspective here th-cam.com/video/-cwT4MN9cJA/w-d-xo.html.
Btw the sun is the best source of vitamin D3 🌞
Err no doctor but I’d suggest you shouldn’t take vitamin d 😂
Take Magnesium supplements,
fixed my atrial fibrillation. Then try vit D. Best wishes from Sweden.
15+ sunshine per day as skin without sunscreen will naturally produce vitamine D. Just exposing arms and legs should do it. Take care.
How about i come to a clinic. What Will It cost me? Patricia Mcerlain
If you are going for a run wait until it gets later in the day
Our current economic model - infinite growth measured by GDP - precludes a healthy population. If people were healthy fewer health care services and treatments would be purchased, the GDP would drop and panic (recession) would ensue. This is the Universal Answer ($$) to WHY (don't we use technology "x;" improve the food supply, etc.) Cheers!
Depopulation is the way to make a buck
Cause that can go to the brain.
what about people being outside that have chemical trails in our skies with barium and strontium
I am Apoe2. Can someone talk about Apoe2?
What we have is Pharmaceutical company driven care. Dr s groups must prescribe. They don't even try to prevent.
