Norwich New York Screen Repair it finally snowed here and got to play with it in the snow and definatly took a bit to warm up. After that I still played with the idle to keep it warm but not enough to have the gears grind on me. Wife got to drive it for the first time and she is hooked and sees why I always want to ride it. Glad I could help.
Bryan Gray right, I just bought one and its been not wanting to idle. I figured out that I was only adjusting air screw not fuel screw. Also the air tank wasnt connected anf had no filter but a roll of paper towels stuffed in it. Not sure how the guy didnt get paper or dirt in engine.. Who the fuck owned these things? Terrible people,
Bryan Gray do you know anything about the electrical? I need to rewire the head light. Also my choke is jammed closed. Should I grease and yank? Whats the procedure..
Norwich New York Screen Repair I suggest a full rebuild of the carb. Very easy to do and kits are $15 on eBay. As for wiring it isn't hard. There are complete harnesses on eBay for these. My lights don't work, I suspect the light coil in the magneto is out but it doesn't bother me at this time. You should check out all the videos of from when I got mine till now. I paid $220 for mine non running and needed love. By the end after a bunch of new parts, I'm just over $400. Still needs a few things but over all very pleased
Bryan Gray nice i got mine for $325 and put in $20 so we are near the same. I think once I slap in an air filter the air flow will be right and then I can adjust the fuel screw. Hope that does it. As for the lights I'm probably gonna slap a cheap light bar on since my whole headlight is gone. I want to rebuild the carb, but in my experience, exhaust every option before digging deeper. I work on laptops and I HATE when I rip a laptop apart just to discover the charger wasnt plugged in ya know
I have an 84' I've been in constant battle with. It will idle great but dies ones you run it for 5 mins and it gets hot. I've rebuilt the crab, checked the fuel pump. I'm at a lose right now, I removed and cleaned the carb tonight and reset the air mixtures screws to factory but it still bogs down when warm. Any thoughts? am I just tuning the carb incorrectly?
Hi you remember me a couple months ago I was asking about the lt125 or a go kart well I bought a go kart and it sucked so I'm selling that and then I found a 1985 suzuky lt250 with suspension in the front so I'm really excuted

Where’s the purge line for the fuel pump go? I have the inlet and outlet correct but can’t find the purge spot
Intake has the pulse port for the pump by where it bolts to the head
