For anybody going thru it, trust me it gets better. Me and my ex were together for 7 years. We broke up. I’m with my soulmate now, just had a baby & moved into a new house. Randomly found out my ex got engaged over the weekend. Thought I’d feel some way but no.. believe me when i say this, I’m happy for her. It can hurt so bad in that moment but unlike the little boy, life goes on.. and gets better
I had to break up with an amazing girl because I know that I have to keep growing. Even though I still know that she will forever be a small part of me.

This was me yesterday where I had to leave a community I had been part of for over a decade becasue so many people were getting upset over me either telling the truth about (insert relevant subject here) or not allowing myself to be hastily generalized as a man. I even cut off friends for 2 reasons. 1) They would regularly talk about going to events at places I no longer could, reminding me of what I lost 2) Not allowing the chance of being convinced to return to said community, which tells me they wouldn't be respecting my choice so they could have me around ... which would then make me feel like their personal dancing monkey or some such. It hurts a LOT .. but you just have to do it. Otherwise, you will be torturing yourself like a victim of abuse who keeps getting tricked by their abuser that everything is fine. Not quite the same, but the dilemma is of a similar design.
Just recently had to do this myself with the mostest beautiful girl i went to highschool with back in the day, we often walked home together after school. They say if you love someone or something in life you should let it go so it can grow in its place and if that someone or something comes back stronger it was meant to be, however if it doesn't then there's your answer!!! ❤
My favourite quote from Tom about Bronson is when Bronson asked him what he was going to do about the iconic moustache and Tom said 'I dunno, might not have it. It's a bit homo isn't it.' And Bronson just blew air out like 'Ohhhhhh, OK. Like that is it?'
The situation is that the rescue team is already there and he'd say to them: "cut it off". But to be fair if the rescue team is there then they'd have probably given you an oxygen mask so you could breathe while they figure out how to get your foot out. But it's just a beautiful metaphor, so trying to find a logical solution isn't the right way 😅
