I had the greatest pleasure to see the original Deep Purple back in the 70s perform the Burn album my ears are still ringing 🙈 brilliant night never to be forgotten 🙏🏻
If it was in the 70s not fully original: Jon Lord Ritchie Blackmore Ian Paice Nick Simpler Rod Evans is the original line up. By mid 1969 Rod and Nick were replaced. So only 3/5 original members then.
@@phillipmarlowe0525 brilliant I was 15 years old, it was fantastic 👍🏻 the road crew had electrical issues, the lights went down yet again, then Ritchie Blackmore walked between the closed curtains and opened up with BURN my goodness sound was brilliant 🙏🏻
Glenn Hughes still has it just amazing how great he is his voice just wails. I saw him with The Dead Dasies in a club not long ago and I swear he peeled the paint off the walls of that place. Jawdropping 😮😮😅😅😅
One of the biggest factors for rock singers maintaining their voices like this is wether or not they started with a healthy , natural technique . Because when you are young you can pretty much force your voice to do whatever you want , but it wont hold up when you are old . Sure there lots of lifestyle and maintainence factors that really help but none of that matters if your base technique isn't clean.
Always love hearing Burn, but how do you have Joe B. on stage and not have him play any of the lead parts? When he and Glen play this with Black Country Communion, Joe blows the roof off of the place with his solos.🤔
80 YEARS OLD AND CAN STILL SCREAM LIKE HE DID WHEN HE WAS 25. WISH IAN GILLAN COULD STILL HIT THE HIGH PITCH SCREAMS. HE WAS THE PIONEER OF THAT ART FORM WITH GLEN RIGHT ON HIS HEELS. BY THE WAY, THE LATE PRINCE-ROGERS-NELSON COULD SCREAM HIGH LIKE GLEN AND IAN. ALL PURPLE SCREAMS.

The sound is poor and the backing vocals are a bit shite but it looks like a cracking gig. I always lurk around the edges of standing-only gigs; easy toilet access is so important these days.
Yes. They should enjoy this super Voice and super Musicians. I saw Glenn with the dead daysies and danced all the time. Without Handy. Greetings from Germany. Regina, 69 Years old. Sorry for my English. ❤
Totally agree that the audio should have been of better quality, but phone mics aren’t intended to capture good quality sound - mainly voice-spoken tones. It doesn’t help that some crow nearby is “singing” along.
Not much actual PA coverage in that area of the venue sadly. It’s why Joe’s guitar is so loud. His stage volume is so much. And as mentioned, phone compression is a nightmare.
How can Glenn still sing so great & still scream too? He is incredible!!!
Hell yeah!! 😂🤗👍
One of best singers in heavy metal history!! 🤘🔥
It's called Drug Preserved..😁
Glenn and Joe are two great guys. Glenn sings great and Joe plays fantastic guitar.
Still a great song by the way. Hughes is killing it like 40 years ago. Joe.... what we say!!!

I remember hearing this in the mid 1970s on a 8-track player in my older brother's 56 Chevy, those were the days, miss them so bad!
Glenn is killing it
50 years on and still hitting the notes!

Never a massive fan of the Coverdale DP versions but that track still sounds great decades later.
OMG. Amazing. So glad to see this. Glenn still sounds great. Wow. So much talent on one stage.
What a man...still a great.
Glenn still sings like a squirrel with it's nuts in a vise...Incredible!
The legend that doesn't get old😊
Jeez, Blackmore has been feeding a lot of people for a looong time!
Hey Joe, would you mind playing rhythm guitar at our next gig?
In April they play in Poland, Warsaw. I'll be there.
Give it up for danish guitarist Soren Andersen who plays the lead and the first solo 💪💪💪💪
Ah, ah, J-B and his legendary smile!
Glenn is so amazing
I still listen to him. saw hm with Deep Purple and Trapeze.
Goddamn, that man has a great set of pipes.
SSSSMOKIN! Dude still has pipes!
Yep Glen Hughes still sounds great Joes sound at the end was brilliant, he should have played the solo but was being a "Gentleman"
Brilliant ? 👌😂
Can' hardly imagine Joe Bonamassa on rhythm guitar!

Hughes still has his voice. It's a shame that Coverdale doesn't.

Because Joe (despite his lack of soul) is a humble man who does what the music needs.

Søren is awesome!
Hughes kills still and that guitar player did an excellent job. Glad to see Bonamassa leave him to it.
Søren Andersen on guitar👍🏻🙏🏻✌🏻👏🏻👌🏻
Just a tube screamer and Deluxe Reverb amp and Joe's sound is slaying the band guitarist with his 4x12 Marshalls...hahaha!
And an Ep-3

How young is Glenn ? ☺
Shame we barely get a glimpse of the keyboardist. He's smokin'!!!!
It’s Derek Sherinian. He guested on this song with Joe B. They are both in Black Country Communion with Jason Bonham
@@flyingburritobro68 Yeah. I know who Derek is. Have all the Black Country Communion discs. Just could barely see him from the camera angle.

Is Joe on tour with them?
Good cover but it needs Ian Paice's drums driving the beat. In the drummer's defense it's hard to match Mr. Paice.

After all these years, Whisky A Go Go could invest a little bit on them. As boomers age, it is going to be more important.

iPhone to the right of stage. You expecting Dolby Digital?
