Amazing dear Glenn! You two are the sickest rock legends🔥🔥🔥🎶🎤⚡️🎸⚡️🔥🔥🔥and make rock music for the future🚀🚀🚀There is nothing better👌🏼Make it loud and turn it up!🔊💥🔊💥🔊🤘🏼My absolute favorite DP song💜See you in April!🤗🙋🏻♀️
With Hughes being new to Deep Purple, as well as Coverdale- pretty much a master class in heavy blues/ rock. Really the only issue would be Joe using a Les Paul vs Blackmore being a devoted Stratocaster player. In fact, Joe speaks about how the entire Burn album is quintessential Stratocaster tone with Blackmore’s style. Listened to Burn a couple of times over the past couple of days- incredible band talent !
I got to see Rory Gallagher at the Whisky around 1972 or so. It was the first time in my young life I got up to dance. It's long past time for Joe to play there.
Great performance must be a misprint in the day I know they can't see that far into the world future if the music is this great in the future I can hardly wait till 2025😂❤❤❤
So, this, believe it or not, is the first time I’ve ever heard/seen Joe B. - is his work on this version representative of his playing style? If so, good to know. If not, I wasn’t sold on the vibrato. Joe is masterful at it, but watching Blackmore’s fingers when he was working his vibrato in the original cut (and seeing old concert footage), well, he’s the man. Such a live feeling song!
Sadly Joe’s guitar was so loud, and there being no front fills in the venue, the songs he played on (2) it drowned most things out. You can’t hear much I’d got through the PA - the Hammond, snare, bass, and toms would all be louder. Alas, phone compression doesn’t help much either.
I LOVE the Burn album and Mistreated is my favorite, Deep Purple song - especially the Made in Europe live version. That said I was very excited to see Joe Bonamassa and Glen Hughes doing this song, but I have to say I found this performance disappointing. You couldn’t hear the vocals hardly at all and the bass could’ve been a bit louder and understanding that Richey and purple wrote the song and played it a lot to get to the Made in Europe version, but it just seemed like there was a lot more thought, creativity, and gutterall blues feeling behind Blackmore‘s version. Just my opinion. I loved Glen with Purple and Joe’s Slow Train live! Just wasn’t thrilled with this.
WOW, a performance from the FUTURE!?
lol
We can only pray. 😂

2/2/2025? is this youtube time machine? Eitherway...rockn, looks like a lot of fun.
Unfortunately we can barely hear the vocals most of the time, but I have zero doubts about Mr. Hughes' singing abilities. Sounds great in general.

I'm not sure exactly but is Joe using an Echo-Plex tape delay? If so, I haven't seen one of those in 20 years.

Rainbow on Stage with Dio
I am here.
Glenn что то простыл... А музыка - высший пилотаж...
The Lead Vocal should be louder!

Looks like a tube screamer and I would guss a tape echo of some kind.
Exhoplex was his delay.
2025...HERE I COME
Time traveler 🧳
Really missing Ritchie Blackmoore here...and so on ...
Ritchie Blackmore is a Mount Rushmore guitarist. But Joe does a great job it's awesome.
@@Fuxerz Really don t like his performance...no soul and interpretation here...just a good job.

Ash Sheehan holdin' it down!
I wish they'd turn the pa up for glen.

Something to look forward to. Foreshadowing? Or just a typo 🤘🏽
I know these guys are good, but to play into the future? Awesome!
