This was Joe’s 1st time to play the Whisky A Go Go. He picked one hell of a show to do so. What an incredible performance that showed the love and energy, he and Glenn share.

One of the greatest song of the '70ys,burn was a milestone in hard rock!
With Hughes being new to Deep Purple, as well as Coverdale- pretty much a master class in heavy blues/ rock. Really the only issue would be Joe using a Les Paul vs Blackmore being a devoted Stratocaster player. In fact, Joe speaks about how the entire Burn album is quintessential Stratocaster tone with Blackmore’s style. Listened to Burn a couple of times over the past couple of days- incredible band talent !
