I am looking to buy a trailer and a few bins here in Northern, Iowa but there also is not a whole lot out there for small bins. Most everything you see is either a basic garbage truck dumpster or the 30+ yard large roll offs. There is not a whole lot in the area for general home remodel/clean ups.

I ordered my Nedland setup on December 3rd 2021. At that time they told me 22-24 weeks lead time. I’m still waiting and Cory told me at least another month. Thankfully I’m not financing so I should be able to weather the storm. Love your videos and thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I’ve been thinking about getting into the dumpster business. More of a side hustle . I’ve been thinking about buying a hook lift f550 or cable lift f550 or what not . I’m trying to find used I’ve found one for sell 20k but it’s the worst diesel ever made 6.4 ford diesel .I had a dumpster guy come over drop off a dumpster he used a beautiful f550 manual 7.3 and that’s what I would like to start the business because I don’t have a diesel truck right now

I ordered a 15yd Dumpster in March they said 14 to 16 weeks. Just called about it. Because it's 16 weeks. They said another 2 to 4 more weeks give or take. I Ordered one Dec 2021 last year and it took 14 weeks. I Picked up March and ordered this new one.. I will not order anymore this year. it's just crazy waiting for Dumpsters.

I have done extensive research and the answer is it depends on where you’re located and how much competition there is. But my bottom line decision not to get any more containers rests on the fact we are in a recession interest rates went up housing starts went down, and property values have either leveled off or tanked in certain areas but nevertheless, if you were in an area where it’s lots of competition and the big companies have the area sewn up Sewn up. I would save your money.

    • @jamesofallthings3684

I plan on starting early next year,
I have 100k$ budget to start the whole thing.
What would you recommend to start with: a 2500 truck with a roll of trailer or a 5500 with a hook lift?
Also, do you recommend starting with one container or buying a package of 3?
    I appreciate you

We also know that it’s not too late to start a dumpster business because There’s a high demand for dumpsters. He’s not gonna reveal his secrets and I suggest watching somebody else’s channel.
