Review 5500Km Beta ALP X

Ein Fazit nach 5500 Km. Dieses leichte Bike macht sehr viel Spaß, aber es hat auch noch ein paar Kinderkrankheiten.
Die wären,immer noch keine Lösung von Beta gegen das Einfrieren des Displays. Ich fahre die Strecke ja mit 0Km/h wie am Anfang zu sehen ist. Bin aber im 3. Gang unterwegs.
Achtung hören !
Das Tack-Tack was man ab Sekunde 24 öfters hört,ist das durchschlagen der Gabel. Die Dämpfung ist, auf diesem warlich nicht schwierigen Untergrund, schon überfordert. Die Feder federt zu schnell und die Gabel taucht beim Bremsen zu weit ein um beim anschließenden Beschleunigen dich wieder nach oben zu federn. Fahren wie auf einem Schaukelpferd.
Die Vorderradbremse finde ich sehr griffig, könnte etwas sensibler sein. Das war es aber auch schon für meinen Geschmack
Die Shinko Reifen haben noch Profil für weitere 3000 bis 3500Km. Sie sind auf der Strasse sehr gut. Bei Nässe etwas vorsichtiger. Im Schotter kommt der Vorderreifen wegen seine großen Blöcke an einen Mitas E07 nicht ran. Der Hinterreifen schiebt dafür um so besser. Der Verbrauch liegt momentan bei 3,2 Liter. Bis dato kein Defekt. Somit bin ich sehr zufrieden. Bei einer Honda crf 300 l hätte ich auch die gesamte Federung machen müssen weil vorne und hinten diese mir zu weich ist, für mich und meinen 82KG.
Ich werde für die Vordergabel nach Cartridge suchen . Nicht so extreme wie für die Beta X Trainer das Boano Cartridge Kit . Damit ich das Schaukelpferd gebändigt bekomme.
Vor dem Urlaub werde ich Ende August die Inspektion und einen Reifenwechsel machen lassen. Vorne werde ich den Mitas Enduro Trail XT+ und Hinten den Mitas ENDURO TRAIL-XT montieren.
Das ist mein persönliches Fazit meiner ersten 5.500Km auf der Beta ALP X 2024 liebevoll "MISS X" genannt
A conclusion after 5500 km. This light bike is a lot of fun, but it also has a few teething problems.
These would still not be a solution from Beta to prevent the display from freezing. I drive the route at 0 km/h as you can see at the beginning. But I'm in 3rd gear.
Attention listen!
The tack-tack that you hear more often from second 24 onwards is the fork bottoming out. The damping is already overwhelmed on this not difficult surface. The spring bounces too quickly and the fork dips too far when braking to bounce back up again when accelerating. Ride like a rocking horse.
I find the front brake to be very grippy, but could be a bit more sensitive. But that was it for my taste
The Shinko tires still have tread for another 3000 to 3500 km. They are very good on the road. Be a little more careful when wet. In the gravel, the front tire cannot match a Mitas E07 because of its large blocks. The rear tire pushes all the better. Consumption is currently 3.2 liters. No defect so far. So I am very satisfied. On a Honda crf 300 l I would have had to do the entire suspension because the front and rear are too soft for me and my 82KG.
I will look for cartridge for the front fork. Not as extreme as the Boano cartridge kit for the Beta . So I can tame the rocking horse.
Before the vacation I will have the inspection and a tire change done at the end of August. I will mount the Mitas Enduro Trail XT+ at the front and the Mitas ENDURO TRAIL-XT at the rear.
This is my personal conclusion from my first 5,500 km on the Beta ALP X 2024, affectionately called “MISS X”.
