  • Whenever we deal with upper body issues - anatomically speaking - we have an upper body nerve network (the brachial plexus) which is important to consider.
    In this week’s video, I’ll take you through an upper body flow to mobilize specific nerves that are vital to shoulder and neck health.
    Video Highlights
    Three fast fixes
    Step by step instructions

    The 3rd exercise saved me twice. My shoulder and arm was sore and tingly from drawing on the computer for too many hours. It was killing me and I couldn’t raise it. The 2nd time was 2 years later. My shoulder was killing me from not stretching before jumping jacks. My shoulder was so sore, I couldn’t raise it at all. These exercises saved me. I can’t possibly thank you enough.

    Thank you so much! I've been suffering from a pain all the way down from my left shoulder to my hand, with that tingling sensation you spoke about. Well after just doing the exercises while watching this video it's already feeling better! So I'm sure once I've done them a few times today and tomorrow, I'll be totally fine soon! I'm even typing this message with such freedom right now. Ten minutes back it was painful just having my arm in position on the desk to type! Thank you once again :)

      same.. i lift weights.... it's been a whole year... i stopped doing over head press and dumbbell side lateral raises since they caused the most pain...not to mention i couldn't even bench 85lbs ... used to bench 225lbs .... anyway i did the first exercise for the medial nerve glide.... 85% of my pain went away.... i haven't been able to sleep on my left shoulder for over a year now.... every time i do the pain comes back.... but I'ma start doing this medial stretch... the first one he showed.... really hope i can one day be able to sleep on my left side again... also go back to o.h.p... i really miss o.h.p.... but I'm back to benching... but i won't go over 170lbs.... i really was worried i had torn off shoulder ligaments... there's only like 4 ligaments holding our arm to our body.. besides muscles... man i really hope it was just nerve damage 😭

    Have a mild shoulder pain, went to Orthopedic, then he prescribed me for the MRI of my left arm. Bought him the result and prescribed me a physio therapy. And this exactly what we were doing after 2 session. The first two was rehabilitation of scapula i think. It is the muscles from the upper back.

    I'm impressed... the first exercise did it for me... medial nerve damage i guess... i lift weights - o.h.p, side lateral raises, dumbbell bent rows and bench press are the culprits..... been suffering with left shoulder and left inner upper forearm pain for over a year now... did the first exercise and 85%-90% of the pain dissipated.... 🐈

    Also you say we are helping by putting tension on these muscles but what happens if you muscles are always under tension, will your exercises help release tight muscles and vagus nerve tension

    • @ZHealthPerformance
      @ZHealthPerformance  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes adding tension to an already tight area can be very effective in reducing overall tone. So, yes, these exercises can still be effective. However, there are also time when these tissues and nerves need to be put under less tension. The nice thing is that you can achieve that by reversing each of these exercises. In other words, if you do the exact opposite movements for each of the tensioning exercises, this will instead create slack for the individual nerves.

I’ve also been strengthening my glutes. But nothing seems to help with the knee tightness. I’ve been working on the foot and hip work from some of your previous videos. Please tell me should I being doing any excises that cause a painful clicking sound, it happens when I turn my shoulder in the first exercises. I’ve also been diagnosed with both shoulder instabilities and 3 neck instabilities that I’m getting PROLOTHERAPY for but I believe it would work better if I had the proper exercises to go along with it, thanks

      It's impossible to answer that without some kind of direct assessment. Clicking sounds are not usually a concern, but when they are also painful they must be evaluated. Any of these movement demonstrated here that are problematic for you should be evaluated for your individual case by your healthcare provider.

      Thank you for answering my question, I’m in so much pain now because I tried to pour out fat from a heavy pan with 2 pounds meat in it, and now I’m in more pain then before PROLOTHERAPY, I have EHLERS DANLOS SYNDROME, and I think I’ve over stretched my ligament or muscle, should I just rest my shoulder or do your simple exercises

    Can you do these exercises after 5 months out of shoulder replacement?

      Wow. That's a great question, but no safe way to answer without knowing more about the surgery. These can be quite intense so we would highly recommend you consult with your therapist or surgeon before working on these as a pure safety measure. Good luck with your rehab!
