That hammer was definitely eaten by rust and damaged deep - nice work on making it to be used again for future to come. You have some major machinery in your workshop.
I also think that I did a good job, but I think that it could have been done better because I could have tried better on sanding this hammer, because after polishing it was obvious that a bit was missing. As for my machines, I buy what I need on a regular basis, let's say I try my best to diversify my videos 😊👍 Thank you very much for your feedback buddy 🤗
@@customrestoration5317 you did and I loved that handle and shape of it and the fact that you did your own woodturning - I am very intrigued by lathes but did will need to look for used one ...
Beautifull, eee well done, it's a great honor for me to see another person with precise attention to detail and his wonderful work, well done and respect from old BG
Hey Man, great restoration of the hammer, and i'm happy for you, that you got the your new toy. And also, keep doing those little sketches, they are really hilarious. I really like your videos 💪🏻👍🏻
Great looking hammer!! I think boiled linseed oil would be an even nicer finish, because the wood handle grain is very beautiful as it is. Still looks amazing though!
Thank you buddy 😊👍 I try to test new things all the time, which is why I decided to use this type of stain, but next time I'll keep it in mind 😊 and thank you very much one more time 🤗
Beautiful. I'm no expert with machining, so you should consult a good machinist, but with that mill and those carbide cutters, you should be able to cut deeper and go faster than you did. Regardless, you put out a great piece
Im very happy that you like my work, I also didn't really know how to use this machine, I didn't want to break anything but I watched many guides and now I know how to work on this machine. Thank you for your support and have a great day 😊
Of course you can, but I prefer sandblasting because it removes the rust along with the metal and baking soda or vinegar are less invasive, for example if we do not want to lose dimension 😊

А нельзя ли ржавчину удалять уксусом или пищевой содой?
