I remember this song from the concert on HBO. I fell in love with LRB from that Melbourne concert played on HBO years ago. John Farnham is a brilliant singer. Not sure why he never became huge here in the states. I could listen to this song a 100 times in a row and not get sick of it. One of GGs best, in my opinion.
Unfortunately LRB is no longer really LRB. No Shorrock, no Birtles, no Goble. It's LRB in name only. In fact the current American incarnation of the band has completely geoblocked Australians from its website.
Even tho John Farnham isnt a superstar in the USA he Still made the Charts His 80s Iconic pop/Rock Anthem You're The Voice When it was Eventually Released In the USA In 1990 it Became Number #82 on the US Billboard hot 100 stayed on the Chart for 5 weeks and In 1989 His number #1 Hit song Two strong Hearts was Realesed in the USA and Became Number #38 on the US Adult Contemporary Charts and stayed there for 4 weeks Straight Age of Reason Was Realesed in the USA but the Date Is Unknown So John is Known in the USA He just isnt as big and Huge as he is in places Like Here in Australia or Canada or UK or Germany or New Zealand or Ireland And Denmark etc Those parts of the World Hes a Music Icon and a Legendary Singer But Not a huge icon in the USA But Nevertheless he is well known in some parts of the USA Without a Doubt and thanks to TH-cam and social streaming apps and social media John Farnham is being discovered by many Americans and Other people around the World and NOW he is Getting the Fame and Recognition he so greatly Deserves tbh

I have absolutely zero problems with the John Farnham LBR albums. Between Graeham's songs and John 's vocals, opened a whole new world for me music wise. Great written songs and vocals cannot not lose.
